Hi Crystal, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Missprettylashess was created by Myself Crystal Chavez also known as Missprettymakeup. Since a child, I always was very passionate about makeup, beauty and everything that has to do in the beauty industry.
Just to share a little bit about myself since a very young child I used to always buy nails and makeup from the ice cream truck when they would pass by and every time my mother would take me to the store my interest was always makeup and nails. I remember as a child always wanting to wear my mom’s cute clothes, makeup, shoes and I became very passionate in that aspect now as a grown woman I have decided to take my career into a further step with launching my own business which is known as Missprettymakeup & now Missprettylashess.
After four years of being in the makeup industry and being able to glam girls up and making them feel beautiful, I have decided to take my business a bit further by introducing Missprettylashess. These lashes are 25MM mink lashes they are reusable for up to 25-30x times, the packaging is very durable and it can be stored anywhere because it’s so small and simple. My goal and dream is to be able to make women feel as beautiful as can be.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not always been a smooth road. Being a makeup artist does take away time from family. I am a mother of 2 children and a wife. Being able to balance the time does get very tough at times. But being able to take advantage of any downtime is amazing.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I became a self-taught makeup artist in 2016. I loved doing my makeup, feeling pretty and sharing my videos and boo tired with others. Girls them began to support me and requested me to glam them up. I remember the first time I got my client, I felt so happy to make them feel beautiful 💖 ever since then, I took it upon myself to become a mua and help other women feel beautiful.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I would say integrity, it creates character and defines who we are.
