Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacqueline Ortiz.
Hi Jacqueline, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started about two years, it’s a non-profit organization dedicated to my community. I quickly realized how competitive the market was in the field of content-creating, advertisement, and blogging. I wanted to build a space, where my team and I would present opportunities to bloggers and content creators of all types. Such as opportunities to collaborate with local -businesses, events, pop-ups, and VIP media events. I could not have done it without the help of my Instagram team Vanessa Barrios @mamahood.adventures, Abigail Solis @tribe.adventures, Claire Flores: @xo.mamastyles, Maricela Chamagua: @aliciaccrearive, Jennifer Lazo @jenhappilyeverafter.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This journey was not easy, creating a small business that collaborated with local event spaces became; @socalinfluential which has been a bit of a struggle; especially during the pandemic as it impacted our ability to interact and network. However, as a supporting community, we have an amazing group of people that come together and contribute to the success of the group. As of now, we have not yet monetized our business, as we felt the need to empower one another in this social sphere.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I would say, my best trait would be networking and communicating with others in my area. I am known to be a content creator and influencer on Instagram as @ocjackieo and Facebook. I started out on Facebook mom communities. My main goal was to connect to other moms, that had children in a similar age range and so my journey as an expert in the parenting field began. I became aware of conferences geared toward parents & families, while attending and experiencing being able to share these amazing resources with my community. I believe that building these life-long relationships with others has set me apart from the rest. Not only do I interact with my community, but I am also part of my community. I provide insight and informative educational content that is family friendly.

I love to travel, that is one of my favorite activities to do with my family. I cover a wide range of topics on my Instagram @ocjackieo such as fashion & beauty, fitness, lifestyle & travel, health & wellness, family-friendly content, educational insight, and entertainment.
