Today we’d like to introduce you to Qadada Lindsay.
Hi Qadada, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am Qadada Lindsay a.k.a Qadada The God in the music industry as an American rapper and Talent manager. Born in Columbus, OH September 29th, 1996 at The Ohio State University Hospital. Owner of Quality Too Good Management, LLC.
I started my music career professionally as early as 12 years old. Growing up in church playing instruments made me the musician I am today. The voice of my music comes from my mother Pajah N Lindsay who is a powerful gospel singer.
As a music producer and audio engineer helping artists to fulfill their dreams, I opened many studios in Ohio, Florida, and Georgia. I traveled all over the United States recording artist right in their homes out of a backpack. I called it “Studio Trapping”.
I was a one-stop shop since you could get your music recorded, cover art made, promoted, and marketed all in one place or on the go. I did this because I wanted to be more than a studio business. I wanted to see artists go further in their careers.
With experience being a manager in the working industry, knowledge of the music business, and helping so many artists all over the country I made my home in Los Angeles to pursue my career as a Talent manager. I have been a resident of Los Angeles, CA for some years now.
I wanted to be more serious about helping artists so I created a management company (Quality Too Good Management, LLC) in West Hollywood, CA. Over the past 3 years, I’ve acquired over a dozen employees, 20 plus artists, businesses, interns, and more. My company is growing fast with so much support and influence on today’s music industry.
I see my company as a multi-management company because we service other companies with management services helping their companies to thrive for years to come. We manage 2 record labels at the moment and several businesses.
I am also a live speaker being a voice for young entrepreneurs and artists that want to expand their horizons and add to the world in a positive light. My main goal is to help artists to fulfill their dreams and create my place in the music industry we know today.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My life hasn’t always been a smooth road. I didn’t finish high school due to legal issues as a child. Watching my mother struggle with a family of six without a father was really hard on me growing up.
As an early adult, I struggled with different jobs and having a stable place to live. Later, becoming a manager, utility chef, and studio manager things got a lot better when I lost my soon-to-be wife Charlandrea Pettis. She passed away in front of me in the hospital leaving behind a daughter and her younger sister.
Present-day, I had trouble creating the right business to help artists to fulfill their dreams. At first, I created a record label to help artists but I realized I didn’t want to own my artist or their publishing. I never wanted to put them in the position to owe me money. I created a management company (Quality Too Good Management) to work for the Artist instead of owning the artist.
Through trial and error, I had to make the right decisions that allowed my company to thrive for years to come.
We’ve been impressed with Quality Too Good Management, LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Quality Too Good Management is a multi-management company. We manage talent and businesses helping them to thrive for years to come.
We specialize in artist development, marketing, and business startups/management. Our slogan is ‘Management Is The Quality Of Business”. We are known for managing artists and helping businesses grow.
What sets our company apart from other companies in our industry is the price system of our services, our pace of growth, and the diversity of our clients. We also make big impacts on our community. We organized and managed peaceful protests on certain matters as a company giving our full support.
I’m most proud of the expansion and growth of my company. We started with 58,000 dollars and are now worth 300,000 as seen on Duns & Bradstreet. My company has also been published on Fox28 Pamona, FL, The US Daily Ledger, and US National Times.
