Daily Inspiration: Meet Hiram Hernandez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hiram Hernandez.

Hi Hiram, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I make tunes and really hope that people like em’

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
To say that it’s been a smooth road would be a complete joke. Coming up I had to sleep on couches, practically beg people to come work with me, do work for free. Basically, do almost anything to try and be heard…. And the kicker was that I wasn’t very good starting out. I messed up more projects than probably anyone. I just wanted to produce records.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a musician and artist first and foremost. Producer by trade. I’m probably known most for being a rock and metal producer and writer. The majority of my work has been heavy music and bridging my love for all music to broaden the spectrum of a record. I’m most proud of the fact that I’m still making tunes and people seem to be really enjoying it. I had my first number one record last year!

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
The first thing I hear that sounds even remotely cool, I will use in a production. Going through is tedious and monotonous. Ain’t nobody got time for that
