Hi Josue, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Our small business story begins in the middle of the pandemic. My girlfriend is a baker and she had to refund all her costumers and close out her calendar till further notice. It was then when Vero, my girlfriend and I decided to start from scratch on a new business. We brainstormed and we gave it a lot of thought on what our next journey would be. We decided to start a business of aguas frescas, we wanted to give it our own touch and create our own concept of presentation. We wanted our name to be remembered by everyone who would purchase our product or use our services. And that is how A_WAS_YMAS was born, we have been in business for about a year and we have struggled through the pandemic to keep our business open and running. It has been hard with the inflation of products such as cups, lids, straws, and candy. They have all increased in price and had a huge impact on our pricing of our product. Both my girlfriend Vero and I have our 9-5 jobs still because we need to pull money from there to keep our business afloat and not give up on our dream to one day if possible own our in storefront. So far, we have only managed to land pop ups and that how we have managed to get our business name out there to be known. If you have purchased from us or used our services, I am deeply thankful from all the small contributions to our small family own business.

Our business is aguas frescas, and we specialize on customizing our drinks based on your needs. We will serve the best aguas frescas at your event and they are made out of fresh fruits. Our most proud brand is our bottle aguas and our Michelada mix along with our chili powder candy and rim dips. We make everything from scratch so that everything tastes fresh when we serve it to our customers and clients. We offer catering services for any special occasion, private events, birthdays or any family gatherings. You can also catch us at pops up all over Los Angeles County, Orange County, and San Bernardino county.
