Daily Inspiration: Meet The CrunchBros

Today we’d like to introduce you to The CrunchBros.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
In May of last year, my wife suggested my son Jordan and I start a mukbang channel and call it, The CrunchBros. We thought it would be a great way to stay connected with our friends and family around the world. Little did we think it would take off like it did. It’s been such a great experience and every day brings us something new. When we first started off, we thought that if anything, we’ll have these videos for us to look back on and keep as memories. We recently started a family channel as well (The CrunchTube) and started vlogging our adventures with the entire family.

As of today, The CrunchBros are at 200k+ subscribers on YouTube 235k+, 1.6 million on TikTok, and 138k on Instagram.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s definitely been a learning curve. Eating on camera is completely different than eating at home at the dinner table. Jordan was a natural from the start, but it was really challenging and still is at times, for me to talk to the camera.

Also, we had little experience with social media when we first started. My wife, who edits all of our content, had never edited anything before. So, she has been learning as she goes and figuring out how to run multiple social media accounts.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
The thing that marked us on the board was our first roulette video that we did. My wife created a mochi roulette for Jordan and I where she filled a bunch of mochis with different fillings. Some good, some bad, and some really bad. BuzzFeed picked up on it and did a little segment on us and it kind of took off from there.
