Exploring Life & Business with Daniel Webster of Burke Williams Spa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Webster.

Hi Daniel, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico; forever enthralled by its beautiful beaches. Growing up, I was always curious about how the world worked, which is why I majored in Electrical Engineering. At the time, I was incredibly interested in satellites, so I actually took part in designing Puerto Rico’s first satellite. However, I always felt the need to be of aid to others. That’s when I decided to go after my doctorate degree in Chiropractic.

I knew I wanted to help people be the best and healthiest version of themselves. Right after college, I opened up my own office in Colorado. However, I decided to move to Los Angeles two years ago in order to be closer to my family. Now I’m currently working at Burke Williams Spa in Sherman Oaks and Santa Monica. I really love my patients and truly care about their needs and wellbeing. It always amazes me how much improvement you can clearly witness, after just one visit, but especially if I get to see them consistently.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
When I moved to Los Angeles to be closer to my family, the COVID-19 virus was rapidly spreading, and many businesses were closing. As it turns out, getting a practice going during a global pandemic isn’t as simple as one might think. It’s been a difficult journey, but as things are beginning to reopen again, we’re hopeful all businesses are able to recover.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
As a chiropractor, my technique involves mixing stretching, postural exercises, and adjustments in order to blend the structure of the body with the movement of the body. This allows for your body to reach its highest and healthiest potential. My clients get the best of both worlds because after every appointment, they can use all spa amenities; which may include: sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, chill room, and even a quiet room. So if you feel like you’re not living your best life or if your body’s not moving or feeling like it should, come see me at Burke Williams Spa in Sherman Oaks and Santa Monica!
