Today we’d like to introduce you to Morgan Renèe.
Hi Morgan, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Ever since I was little, I loved to sing & perform for my family. My sisters & I would put together dances to songs & sing them at family get togethers like holidays or birthdays. Performing always came easy to me, along with singing. Growing up, I was always in plays and musicals. I’ve always wanted to make music of my own music but didn’t know where to start. I tried to write music but it never came out how I wanted to. Recently, I had a relationship of mine end & it inspired me to write about what I was going through & how I got through it. My sister & I sat down, put some songs together. We let our close family & friends listen to it, they were all shocked at what we put together. So, we decided to go to the studio & release for people to hear! Ever since then, I’ve decided to take my music very seriously because this is what I would love to do for the rest of my life. So far, I have one music video & five songs out. I will be releasing new music in these next few months along with music videos. I have a long way to go & I am enjoying my journey in the industry!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The music industry is a very hard industry to get popular in. Many struggles I face are writers block & spending days or weeks trying to perfect a song. The main struggle that I have had is getting my music out there to people all over the world. Promoting yourself in the industry is hard if you do not have a large following & that has been one of my biggest problems.

I am a singer-songwriter/dancer & as I become more known that’s what I would like to go by. My most popular song has been “222” which has a remix coming out very soon! The song explains all the emotions in the honeymoon faze of falling in love. My second most popular song is “Wasted” it is about a heartbreak & finding out the person you were with was disloyal. What sets me apart from other artists is that I am a triple threat. Even tho I sing/write, I also act & dance. One thing I am most proud of is my work ethic. I am 17 & do A lot of my work by myself. When it comes to photoshoots, music videos, booking studio time I handle things on my own. My music video to “222” was directed by me & a lot of my videos in my future will also be directed by myself. My upcoming project that I will be releasing is my favorite project so far & I am very excited for everybody to see!
