Today we’d like to introduce you to Briana Gipson.
Hi Briana, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am a single parent of two. My son was born in 2019 with severe eczema. His eczema was everywhere on his face & body and for a while was uncontrollable. Doctors recommended medications that later damaged my son’s skin more and I was left with no choice but to find some way to heal his skin. I felt guilty for trusting the doctors and felt bad thinking about my son’s future in school with the eczema taking over his skin. That was enough motivation for me to start looking into natural skincare remedies. It didn’t take long for results. And the results were so noticeable I was overwhelmed with joy while comparing before & after photos because I knew I’ve come up with a natural product that others could also benefit from and fall in love with.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been a rocky road, but the best rocky road ever. I’m learning, I’m teaching, I’m growing. I’m gaining & losing all at the same time. All businesses have their bad days but this is my very own business so the pain, sweat & tears just hit different. It’s more worth it. The biggest struggle for me is marketing. I know I have a good, working product but I feel my brand isn’t being acknowledged or seen enough.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Qweendom was created based on self-care & self-love. We often think our outer appearance such as hair, clothes, nails, make-up, etc. Is all of self-care but it’s so much more. Taking the time out to make a skincare routine with natural products is a good exercise for the body & mind. My products stand out because they work. Some people call it magic in a jar can you believe its an all “natural” working product? My business name is also very special to me when I think of Qweendom I think of united confident women. Healthy flawless skin will have u feeling very confident, confidence brings positive energy and we need to spread more of it (positivity)around the world.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
My family says I loved to talk, I remember being a leader. My dream job as a kid was to be a teacher. I enjoyed reading, writing & listening to music.
