Today we’d like to introduce you to Daisy Lizzet.

Hi Daisy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My Name is Daisy, and I am the owner and founder of Prevail Collection. I first started Prevail Collection with the intention in providing women a less frustrating and time consuming experience finding the perfect outfit for the right every occasion. I myself am a full-time nurse, student and single parent which gives me so little time in the day to find what to wear. The idea of going to a mall for me would mean I’d have to circle a parking lot in search for parking for a really long time, walk through stores and stores in search for the right top or bottom piece for an outfit, and hope my size is in stock just to find out it needs to be ordered and all while dealing with the endless “Mommy I want to go home” or “Mommy last store, ok?”. So shopping for an outfit was always hard for me mostly because of time management. After talking to a few classmates and co workers I realized that it wasn’t just me dealing with this. In the summer/fall of 2019, I decided to start my own online collection, Prevail Collection.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This journey has not been easy for myself and being a small business owner. Like many, the unexpected pandemic not only affected me with work, school and family but also slowed business for me. My garage got broken into earlier this year and an entire summer collection was stolen. I had to take money out of savings and face a few financial setbacks in order to have my business where it is today.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My main focus initially was to give women a chance to look their best in fashionable, cute, classy and sexy all affordable clothes. Today, I have expanded Prevail Collection to women from sizes Small to my curvy babes 3X and I have also launched a HIM Collection just for men because in serving women throughout the Los Angeles County, Inland Empire,Riverside County and even parts of Northern California I’ve realized men need to prevail just as much as women do.

I don’t just have an online apparel business that ships or packages to do it. I take the time in making sure every order is packed perfectly and even offer my customers same day local delivery as an option because life happens and sometimes it’s the little things that can change how someone’s day results. I know what rushing with time feels like.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Don’t give up! Keep going, keep standing, keep pushing, keep rising, keep doing what you need to do in order to get to where you need to get to. There are always going to be problems and obstacles because without pain and suffer there’s no glory. So, don’t give up!
