Today we’d like to introduce you to Mohammad Takwa.
Hi Mohammad, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
We originated and started four years ago at the Laguna Beach farmers market we are a family business in fact my stepmother is our head chef she’s been cooking for 38 years making authentic Syrian Mediterranean recipes that have been passed down through generations. Our focus is to help people eat healthier. We understand the lack of good homemade style foods and that’s what motivates us to keep going.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We leasted our restaurant last March right when covid started which was pretty tough at first thankfully since we’ve originated in the farmer’s markets, we were able to continue growing the business.
As you know, we’re big fans of Vegan Stops. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We are a family business that’s focuses on making gourmet healthy meals/sides.
How do you think about luck?
The greatest blessing we had was that we had already been in the farmer’s markets before leasing our restaurant and that’s what kept us going.
