Thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We actually met playing shows together in our own separate bands. After some time and circumstance, we wanted to pool our talents for a new project! We’ve spent the last few years mastering the craft behind the scenes and are excited to start putting music out that we are all really stoked on!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
More ups than downs but the road isn’t always smooth. Living in different cities, the hardest part is usually finding a time that we can all get together to finish a tune. We felt like we had a solid grasp on that and then the pandemic hit and threw everyone for a loop. The pandemic also pushed our release schedule back a little bit. Thankful to be close to the other side on that one.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We are a band! We make music for people who like to dance, have fun, and appreciate a good vibe. If you like The 1975, COIN, Young the Giant, Maggie Rogers and more along those lines… then GOOD because they are some of the inspirations on our list. We just released our debut single, Ceiling, that is out on all platforms currently. We are the most proud of that but are excited for a new music coming VERY soon. What sets us apart is that we really try to tie our music and life experiences together in a unique way that makes you feel and think deeply, but also just jump up and down and want to dance!
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
We are just happy to be here. Success is being surrounded by your loved ones doing what you love. We want to get to the point that we are doing music full time but are thankful for every step along the way.
