Today we’d like to introduce you to Caitlyn Lopez.
Hi Caitlyn, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in Fresno, California, a town where people have many dreams but don’t know how to accomplish them. I act, model, sing, so I had to learn how to market myself. I’ve been doing those creative activities for my whole life, so I had to learn how to market them along the way. Once I was old enough to have an account, I spent time learning every social media platform, how to grow a following, and what type of content people generally enjoy. Eventually, I got my first job in an office doing their marketing! I haven’t stopped working in marketing since. I decided to start taking marketing classes and gigs on the side, and I loved it.
In 2020, I got into a terrible car accident that left me unable to work my normal job. To make the most of that moment, I decided to start my own marketing business. I’ve loved every minute of it; from the late nights strategizing and early morning meetings to getting my clients the results they need and want.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting a business during a pandemic was bound to be tough. There have been many ups and downs, but they’re all worth it if I get to help people make their dreams come true.
