Today we’d like to introduce you to Cristal Marquez.
Hi Cristal, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Official luxe was established in CA in Oct 2020. I started official luxe because I love fashion trends and accessories make a statement. So why not start my own small shop. I have a couple of friends who have their own small shop. They were so helpful on directing me to the right place and sources to help me establish my own.
When I started my business, I didn’t think I would grow so quick. One thing that did help with growth was collaborating with influencers. I also a person of giving so I like to host a lot of giveaways which also help me with my growth in my business. I’ve have learned to stay positive through this process and not to give up on my dreams. No one can stop me but myself and that is not an option. I set goals each week and try my best to accomplish them. If I don’t no biggie, I keep trying till I do. I stay positive and keep pushing till I reach my goal. Don’t let anything or anyone stop you from dreaming.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been easy. One of the struggles is trying to have a consistency around sales. Yeah on drop days (new items) we have a successful drop. We want to be able to have a consistency around sales daily. We are currently working on a plan to help us bring up our daily sales up so maybe one day we can open up a small boutique.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Official luxe is a small shop that sells accessories. There are TONS of places selling jewels, accessories & etc.; however, not all of them can guarantee quality for an affordable price, fast delivery, and excellent customer service. Official luxe is the perfect place for all of the above!!! I also LOVE what I do and I give it my ALL when it comes to official luxe!!!
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Even if you get knocked down at the first hurdle, you should always keep going. Resilience is a key trait for success as it is what can help you to continue going, no matter what. In life, you will face obstacles that might hinder your success. However, having resilience can really help you to bounce back from these things quickly. Learn to deal with tough situations so that you can power through and become successful.
