Hidden Gems: Meet Claudia Whitney

Today we’d like to introduce you to Claudia Whitney.

Hi Claudia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
It started when I started diving into spiritual and self-development over 20 years ago. Before that, I guess you could say I was lost, disconnected, unhappy, and had very poor self-esteem. I was also unhealthy and overweight, and I made a major decision to change my life. Eventually, I became a yoga teacher and started living and teaching worldwide. I’ve been on a path of transformation and growth ever since. I gained many skills over the years, like teaching meditation, becoming a transformational life coach, hypnotherapist, and NLP + EFT practitioner. It wasn’t always easy for me, and once I got a taste of what life was like living on purpose, there was no turning back. Today, women from all over the world hire me to take them to the next chapter of their life with more clarity, confidence, and purpose. I help women find the courage to discover who they are, follow their truth, and play bigger in their lives by teaching them the tools I learned on my own powerful journey. Lastly, I’m married to the man of my dreams, and we have the wildest, most creative, and curious son Bodhi, and after living abroad for many years, 2 1/2 years ago, we made Los Angeles home, and we love it!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The first part of my life wasn’t easy for me. I had a rocky relationship with my parents, I didn’t feel loved, and at one point, they even put me in a foster home. I was so unhappy, lacked confidence, and there were times when I didn’t even want to live. Because I was so unhappy, I turned to food, drugs, and alcohol. I was overweight and unhealthy. It all sounds quite intense as I share this now because I have a dramatically different story today. It’s even hard to believe because since I started doing the transformational inner-work over 20 years ago, my life has consistently just gotten better and better in every way. My past is what fuels me today. And I still have challenges. The difference is that today I know who I am, I love myself, and I don’t need validation outside of myself to prove I’m worthy of having everything I desire!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I’m a passionate and dedicated Transformational Life Coach, Master Hypnotist, Intuitive Coach, NLP + EFT Practitioner, and Yoga & Meditation Teacher. I work with women that have tasted success in one way or another in life and are at a point where they know deep down there’s something more for them, and they want clarity and support to create the next chapter of life with grace, clarity, confidence, and enthusiasm! I combine Transformational Coaching, Spirituality, Leading Mindset Techniques, NLP, and Hypnosis to show women their unique power and the keys to reaching their potential. I provide an inspirational and brave space for self-discovery, deeper listening, connection, and awakening to intuition, love, and wisdom within. Women can work with me 1:1 or join my intimate signature group coaching program Courage To Create. It’s a 12-week program to help women reprogram their self-worth and how they see themselves, so they can release doubt and fear and bring their dreams into real life. Whether working with me 1:1 or in a group setting, my proven process is essential in creating lasting change that gets my clients to a place in their life where they are showing up authentically and finally getting the outcome they desire while feeling worthy of having it!

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I never dreamed I would land in Los Angeles! After living abroad for so many years, my husband and I knew we’d come back to California one day and researched every place except for LA. Then one day, my husband said, “What about LA?” And I said, Okay!” We found an amazing apartment in Mar Vista, and I have to say our home is one of my favorite things about living in LA. My other favorite things about living in LA are it’s a short drive or bike ride to the beach, the sunshine, and the plenty of food options for this vegan + gluten-free mama and meat-eating husband and kid. And lastly, the community I have here is one with incredible and inspiring women that have made me a better person. I’ve built a life here without the things that I thought I wouldn’t like about LA. For example, I don’t sit in traffic because I work from home, I live in a neighborhood where I can walk to my local yoga studio + coffee shop, and we live close enough to the beach to ride our bikes.
