Daily Inspiration: Meet Gabriella Guerra

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabriella Guerra.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Born and raised in Downey, I am one of four siblings raised by two Peruvian parents. Growing up, I never really knew what I wanted to do after high school, I just knew I wanted to be independent and make my own money. Shortly after turning 16, I got my first job, and then very soon after that, I had my son Nathaniel. Like all things in LA, life came at me fast and hard. I found myself having to hustle so I began working as a bartender while finishing Cosmetology School. Throughout my years in the restaurant industry, I learned so many things that in hindsight, I didn’t think would be more than just one more thing to add to my resume. Never in a million years did I think those tools would equip me to be able to start my own juicing business. When the pandemic hit everything came to a screeching halt which gave me the opportunity and time to really think about what I wanted to do next. I quickly realized that small businesses were the new fad, so I took a leap of faith and began selling my homemade pressed juices and wellness shots to my friends and then boom, Arcoìris Juices was born.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
For the most part, it’s been a very smooth and welcoming experience. I have had the unconditional support of all my family and friends which makes everything feel possible.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Homemade pressed juices and wellness shots are my main focus. I myself started juicing early January 2020 after watching videos of Dr. Sebi elaborating on all the amazing health benefits you get from these juices. I was intrigued by this information and I wanted to share it with everyone around me. I am most proud of the quality and integrity of my product. I personally go to the produce district in downtown LA to pick out all my fruits and veggies. I make everything myself and it is absolutely paramount to provide my customers with the best-pressed juices.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I love collaborating with other small businesses by doing online giveaways to engaged and show appreciation to our followers. I have weekly pop-ups in LA and the surrounding areas which allows me to connect with new people all the time, this great way to network and grow your business by word of mouth. Lastly, be sure to follow us on all social platforms at Arcoirisjuices to stay connected with where we will be next.
