Meet Kyle & Amy Suppes

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyle & Amy Suppes.

Hi Kyle & Amy, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Kyle: My whole life, I’ve loved training and pushing myself to the physical and mental limits. It was through coaching Amy in her lifts that I realized I loved helping others reach their potential almost as much as I liked reaching my own – it brought me joy to watch her succeed and knowing I helped her get stronger. She put the work in, don’t get me wrong – but it was cool playing a part in her success. Amy and I both work in jobs that we love and are passionate about. Amy is a college volleyball coach and I’m a business consultant. I was traveling every week prior to the pandemic and when travel was halted, I was able to step back and reflect on my career thus far. I also was able to train for different challenges since I had the means to do so. During a training run for a virtual ultra marathon (Badwater 267), I began asking myself the question “if I was fired tomorrow, what would I be doing?” The phrase that kept coming to my mind was “you could build your dream, or you could build someone else’s.” This is our slogan for NVCTS Nutrition. When I brought this up to Amy, her passion and “why not?” attitude made me realize there was no one I’d rather share this journey with. The word “Invictus” in Latin means “unconquerable.” Our goal for NVCTS Nutrition is to fuel people on their journey to unconquerable fitness, naturally. Our products are 100% natural. In a world that chases the “quick fix”, we’re looking to build a real community deeply rooted in finding and pushing past limits every day. Long term, sustainable health and fitness starts from within – by fueling your body with what it actually needs.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My background in consulting definitely helped me know how to get the ball rolling and what avenues to take when starting NVCTS. The biggest struggle has been identifying our niche and how to go to market. Not only are we starting a company in the midst of a global pandemic, we recognize we are also starting a company in one of the most saturated fitness markets in the United States. Our standard of using all natural products also makes the formulation process more difficult. We are taking into account that we are competing with products that don’t hold the same standard. It’s like a clean, natural athlete competing against someone using performance enhancing drugs (PEDs). We will never compromise our natural mission, but there are extra steps required to ensure the products are the highest quality they can be. That being said, we are fully confident that investing in our customers’ lives and well-being will be far more fruitful than making the quick buck and moving on to the next. We are committed to our community and want to give them the best tools for their journeys.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Amy is a college volleyball coach and Kyle works as a business consultant.

Any big plans?
Our future plans are to steadily grow NVCTS Nutrition to be globally recognized and universally accepted as the top natural supplement brand. We hope to educate people on what they’re putting in their bodies and how to optimize their health through the use of NVCTS products. We are working on developing products to add to our lines that will help to improve all aspects of fitness and overall health.
