Today we’d like to introduce you to Meyosha Williams.
Meyosha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
A dear friend was having an event for her first book release in her friend’s backyard. This was the birth of my business Soleil James Design. I created the name by using the middle names of my two children. I wanted to set myself apart from the other event planners so I incorporated my love for fashion and decor.
I enjoy creating special looks and styles for my clients that bring out the beauty within. I consult with my clients to create personal styles with items they already own or allow me to purchase. To be honest, I love it most when a client allows me to create from a blank canvas or uncertainty of a direction which allows me the opportunity to showcase my unique style and flare of different color palettes, textures and furnishings. I get the most joy seeing the smiles of satisfaction after a project is completed to know they have enjoyed the experience of a personalized touch.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The obstacles I have found are making sure to establish a clear vision for the services for personal styling, event planning and home office decor. I want to make sure my princing is client-friendly and profitable.

My business allows me to offer individual creativity to each client to meet their needs of service.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success for me is defined by the joy I bring my clients whether it be for a special event, personal styling or creating a warm atmosphere for their home or office.
