Hi Dro, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I originally started my clothing line back in 2018 and engineered a group of friends until they told me to start rapping. I picked up a mic and never looked back from there. Then I moved from Atlanta and came out to California picked up a buzz and been going ever since
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been very hard. In the beginning not knowing anyone, then learning how to engineer for two years to producing music and building a team around me was the biggest focus but the biggest challenge was continuing to push new music with my busy schedule and learning how to manage artists while being an artist myself.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I engineer and rap, I specialize in the entertainment industry. I’m known for always making something out of nothing whether it’s music, business or hustling, my most proudest moment is when God wakes me up every morning to be the next better version of myself. All I can say is I’m Dro Benji people can’t do what I do, simply because I don’t even know how I do it; it’s just like the universe aligns and I’m in beast mode, lol.
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
Yes, knowledge is everything. Do things you normally wouldn’t do just because it may be beneficial someday.
