Meet Vince Del Fine of Del Fine Home Inspections in Torrance

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vince Del Fine.

Vince, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
In 1999 I started my Journey in the construction field as a construction superintendent. There I supervised day-to-day construction to ensure contractors completed jobs while maintaining a high degree of craftsmanship. During my time as a construction superintendent I also attended trade school. There I met a home inspector and after speaking with him for some time I found it sparked my interest in the field of inspection. However I at that time had no experience or time to pursue it.

In 2003 an opportunity came up for me to work for a real estate development company. There I managed new residential construction, commercial construction, industrial construction, tenant improvement and renovation projects. The job entailed working with design consultants, engineers, inspectors and sub-contractors. I was also part of a team that performed jurisdictional plan submittal/permit process for upcoming projects. After the crash of 2007 construction had nearly come to a stand still and my department after 7 years was consolidated.

For a few years I kept myself busy working for various contractors and developers. In the back of my mind never letting go of the idea of starting my own home inspection company. In 2010 I started Del Fine Home Inspections. Like most new companies the first couple years were a bit rocky as well as the economy and the construction industry still recovering from the crash. I knew all along that being a home inspector was what I wanted to do and I had the experience and knowledge to push forward.

Today Del Fine Home Inspections I’m proud to say is a Home Inspection company that sellers, buyers, investors, real estate agents and realtors can count on. I run the day to day operations and also perform Property Inspections throughout Los Angeles County & Orange County. I am responsible for performing inspections and reporting on the general conditions of properties in a written report with full narrative and photos of my findings and recommendations.

Del Fine Home Inspections performs complete and thorough home inspections. We inspect everything from the foundation to the roof and everything in between. We specialize in inspecting SFR, Duplexes, Triplexes, Fourplexes, Apartments, Condos, Town homes and more. Currently serving the counties of Los Angeles & Orange.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I believe the industry will continue to grow and as population and communities develop the need for qualified and experienced home inspectors will also continue to rise.
