Meet Justin and Ramin Abrams in Beverly Hills

Today we’d like to introduce you to Justin and Ramin Abrams.

Both born and raised in NYC, Justin started playing cello at two-and-a-half years old, and his younger brother, Ramin, right around the same age. Both brothers have always loved music & performing, but even at a young age, had a passion for business as well.

After years of performing (solo, chamber, and orchestra), the brothers went on Universities with top-notch music programs.

Justin – McGill University
Ramin – UCLA

Justin went on to work in Sports Marketing at Red Bull for almost a decade, where he worked on a vast number of projects across a variety of sport disciplines: chess, sailing, fencing, basketball, skydiving, parkour, e-sports, and more.

Ramin went on to be a top-performing financial advisor at Wells Fargo.

Justin now has gone on to found a company that is disrupting the retail real estate industry. “The role of the physical store is evolving into an IRL (in-real-life) customer acquisition channel” says Justin After a decade-long career in experiential marketing, he has witnessed the impact of connecting with customers in the physical world.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
In their adolescent years, there was a lot of pressure to perform on a high level, both musically and academically.

For Ramin, the current environment has led to particularly volatile markets. In order to continue driving strong returns for his clients during uncertain times, Ramin leads with ‘First Principles’ thinking.

For Justin, there have been countless hurdles, both while working at a company and now as an entrepreneur. Justin lives by the phrase, “figure out a way to turn headwinds into tail winds.”

Please tell us about Flagship.
Flagship is a retail service platform that enables next-generation brands to scale their physical presence with speed & confidence in today’s rapidly shifting retail landscape. Flagship exists to remove the friction out of leasing for retailers and landlords. The company focuses on established, premium brands that are looking to scale their physical presence in an agile way. Traditional leasing consists of 5+ year leases, and 90% of the work left on the brand once they receive keys to a space. Flagship provides brands with end-to-end support.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Not worry as much!
