Meet Gilli Stuppel of Gilli Wellness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gilli Stuppel.

Gilli, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I am a 3rd generation holistic healer whose family holds secret healing treatments for physical and energetic problems. From a young age, I learned the skills I would later use in my practice.

I went to school in Israel and spent two years in the Israeli army serving as a medic in the Tank and Paratrooper Battalions. After the army, I spent another two years working in Emergency Care at the Labour/Delivery Unit of the Kaplan Hospital in Israel.

In 1995, I completed my Naturopathic Doctorate from the Israeli College of Complementary Medicine and hold Doctors degrees in Naturopathic Medicine from Israel and Germany.

In 1996, I came to the United States to study Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Today I hold a Master’s Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College. I am certified by the State of California to practice Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine and have over seventeen years’ experience in this specialty.

I also hold diplomas in Homeopathic medicine, Western herbs, Reflexology, Acupressure therapy and Childbirth Doula. As a doula, I support women as they embark upon their incredible journey toward motherhood.

I work closely with several Western Infertility Specialists and maintain a high success rate with my fertility patients. I am dedicated to helping patients overcome their reproductive challenges and infertility issues to achieve their goal of having children.

I have a unique Acupuncture style. In my treatment, I access and embrace my wide variety of knowledge and techniques for body, mind and spirit. In my practice, I use Chinese herbs, diet therapy, vitamins and minerals for better results when treating patients.

Using Naturopathic medicine, Acupuncture and Chinese herbs I treat many varied symptoms and illnesses, including: Fertility issues, Women’s Health, Menstrual irregularities, Menopause, Depression, Emotional trauma, Stress, PMS, Morning sickness. pre-and post-pregnancy care.

Pain Management, lower back pain, Sciatica, shoulder pain, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Tennis Elbow, Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, headaches, women’s health, menstrual irregularities, menopause, depression, emotional trauma, stress, PMS, morning sickness, and more.

I have performed research work on menopause and alternative ways to treat it and have had articles published in the Israeli Ma’ariv newspaper. Due to the success of the articles, I was invited to speak on Israeli television. Another of my articles on alcoholism and treatments to aid in detoxification was also published.

I provide lectures to health care providers to prepare them for their future in the field of Acupuncture & Gynecology and obstetrics.

Luck has played a part all the way along my journey. I am lucky to be in the business of relationships. I get to meet and talk to people throughout the day. Through my work, I have met and spoken to many different people from many different walks of life, each who have been a part of my journey, some even bringing me luck along the way.

An example of this was one day I was treating a nice lady who was a journalist (I didn’t know that when I started treating her) She listened to my story and wrote a long article about me. A producer on a big TV show happened to read that article and invited me to talk on his show. Other people saw the show and asked me to speak at a conference. It all just happened by chance, by luck.

Has it been a smooth road?
My journey to where I am today has by no means been an easy or smooth road. I arrived alone in a foreign country, speaking a foreign language with only $700 in my pocket. However, I knew that I had to study hard to make a success of myself, and study hard, I did! I learnt a new language, met new people and made a new life on the other side of the world. It was difficult. There was a time I was working 3 different jobs, studying during the day and working in the evenings and weekends to make ends meet. There were many times where it would have been easy to give up and go home to Israel, but I persevered, worked hard and graduated Suma Cum Laude. Looking back, it was definitely worth it.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Gilli Wellness – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I believe in the integration of Eastern and Western approaches to health. At Gilli Wellness I maintain close working relationships with Medical Doctors, Physical Therapists, Gynecologists, Orthopedists, Reproductive Endocrinologists and other Health Care Professionals who share the same belief in approach and practice.

I use Chinese herbal medicine and nutrition along with Acupuncture for the best results for our patients.

Lastly, other select herbs are effectively used to regulate and balance hormone levels.

Traditional Chinese Medicine helpful in combination with ART and IVF:

For women who partake in traditional Chinese medicine while undergoing assisted reproductive technologies (ART) and in vitro fertilization (IVF) acupuncture and herbs are used to increase the chances of a successful by stimulating ovulation, regulating hormones and regulating the menstrual cycle.
