Meet Ruzanna Khechumyan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ruzanna Khechumyan.

Ruzanna, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
When I graduated college, I was working for a law firm. My manager suggested I should get my real estate license (she was a broker herself). Upon research, I found out that because I have a bachelor’s degree, I qualify to take my Brokers exam instead of salesperson. I passed my exam that same year on New Years Eve and began working in real estate and sure enough, it was the perfect career for me. I first started out on a team and quickly worked my way up to a Solo broker working for myself. I then had my first baby and was able to continue working while taking care of her myself. I realized that this career was the best decision of my life as it was fun, rewarding and I love being involved in my client’s most important investment of their life. I then got pregnant with my second child and continued working through my pregnancy. Once I had my second baby, I realized I needed a little bit of help.

After a tremendous amount of research and interviewing, I decided to join JohnHart Real Estate and hang my license at that brokerage. I can honestly say it was a great move, having a team of support on the back end has been so helpful. I have since been able to grow my business and raise my babies. I have always been the go to gal for everyone with the best referrals and help, I have gained a tremendous amount of trust in everyone and grown my circle. I am always available for my clients, early mornings to late nights, I never leave them hanging and make sure I hold their hand throughout the entire process. My success in becoming a top producing agent has been such a blessing, I thank God everyday for how far I have come.

Has it been a smooth road?
Definitely not a smooth road, It took sleepless nights of studying to pass my Broker’s Exam. I hurdled upon some bumps when I went through difficulties pregnancies where I was put on bed rest each time. Even during those times, though, I was always available for my clients. I became a top producing agent all while raising two little girls all by myself with very minimal help. Regardless of the Situation, I make it happen.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
I am a real estate broker, licensed for 7.5 years, and have been working in the industry for 14 years now. I am known for always being available, always helping people even if I am not benefiting from it and I am one everyone can trust. As a professional, I am proud of the trust I gained and all the strength I have to be able to do all that I do.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Los Angeles is an incredible city to do business in, however, unless you put in the time and effort, nothing is easy, no one will just handwork/money to you freely.
