Meet Nathan Delva of Envision Apparel

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nathan Delva.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Nathan. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
It’s all started in 2015 as a sophomore in college. I always had a passion for fashion and people surrounding me would consistently compliment my style. That’s when I created my clothing line. The first item that I sold in stock was a Dashiki. This item represented the black culture from the African American community. I sold out of my first two releases within less than a week of the item being posted on social media… At that point, I knew this company would become successful in the near future. Staying consistent with Photoshoots and collaborating with influencers at my college is what sparked everyone’s eyes about my clothing brand. I made sure to promote daily and release a series of dope Photoshoot content. The more I put out, I began to notice a flood of support from my friends and family. If it were not for them, I would not of have the strength and push to continue with my brand.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road to being a CEO of your own business is not smooth at all. I will say that it is very much rewarding to see your brand build from the ground up. Some of the struggles I had along the way were finding out which crowd to pinpoint focus on when it came to creating different items. Also figuring out which way I could appeal to both male and female when it came to putting out dope content and stylish clothing. As time went by, I began to receive more and more support. The more work I put with my creativity and video/picture footage of my work, the higher increase I received of support from my social media followers. I also caught my self struggling with motivation at times of items not selling as quick as others. In moments like this, I would suggest upcoming entrepreneurs to never give up no matter what obstacles come your way. Stay consistent and true to your brand. You will learn from your mistakes which will turn you into an even doper artist.

Please tell us about Envision Apparel.
Currently, I am a New York Fashion Week modeling following my dreams of acting and modeling while owning my own clothing line. I am known for my creative pieces such as unique styles of accessories added and one of one distressed customized items. I make sure to put a sense of art within each piece that is created. As a CEO, I am most proud of the amount of people I have been able to touch and inspire throughout the years of building my brand. My goal is to open my own store in major cities such as LA, Miami and ATL. What sets my brand apart from others is that each piece exemplifies a unique art that makes the clothing pop like no other. These pieces are not items you can find in the mall or online shopping. I make sure to put the upmost creativity in all of my work.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I had to start over, I would honestly have purchased the equipment I have now earlier. I made an invest in my later years of college buying my heat press and vinyl machine. When I first started my brand I was much younger and afraid to take bigger risks. These risks would have built my brand much quicker and saved me a lot of money. If possible, I would say cut the middle man out and make sure you have access to all the supplies you need in order to make your brand elevate.
