Meet Jay Williams of Vibrant Visuals in Beverly Hills

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jay Williams.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Before this, I worked two jobs that I didn’t like just to get a check that wasn’t my worth, I wanted more. Vibrant Visuals started out with me in 2018 using the computers in the library of my college, sometimes not leaving the campus till late. I’ve been in the graphic design field for 4+ years now, art has always been my passion but I saw that graphic design was a necessity for the market. I researched the industry and found there was a rise in entrepreneurship, but a gap in successful companies I started first as just a freelance graphic designer but just the “graphic designer” label felt self-restricting I knew it could be much more, in 2019 I had a bigger vision. I obtained my business license and started to run as a company, expanded my services and now I have worked with several start-up companies surrounding the as well as Los Angeles.

Has it been a smooth road?
The biggest obstacle in all this was navigating myself through the process of becoming what Vibrant Visuals is now. It was just about maintaining a balance of both my passion and responsibilities. I realized that this path will be long and it requires endurance. I was getting off work late and working till the morning just to get a bit of rest before I went to work the next day. I made it a priority to create no matter what time it was. My drive and faith is what gets me through the hurdles, I wanted support from other people which sometimes it is the easiest thing to come by. There were moments where I wanted to give up because the growth wasn’t happening as fast as I wanted to but I hold on to a firm belief that all good, hard work bears success even in failure you can learn from the mistakes and restructure them into something positive. I had to take that first step because without it, It would just be an idea that never got out. I constantly think about my future.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Vibrant Visuals – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
With our target market being small startups because we believe that some of these small companies have BIG ideas that can change the world, as well as put people on a path to ownership. Marketing is all around us and we are exposed to it every day in our lives, I thought why not translate this information and make it a “Vibrant Visual” and that’s what we do we are the Architects of Vision. We serve to create new growth to startups this meant new great ideas would essentially become businesses and these businesses in turn create jobs. But we saw that that various people have great ideas but no structure or form of action to carry it out into the world. I realized the power of design itself, it was a communicator of those ideas visualized for the world to see. With a specialization in Logo Design & Branding. I saw it as a problem that could be solved. Since then, I have worked with multiple small companies and moms and pops to help build their vision through design.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I like the networking opportunities that LA provides, it’s a rich diverse community with people who are very talented and it comes from a great culture. I love the atmosphere that LA has to be able to make yourself a platform to be able to reach the surrounding communities. I feel like what I dislike about LA is that even though LA is one of the most highest wage grossing cities in the U.S there is still a mass amount of the population that are poverty-stricken. A lot of LA’s communities have been forgotten amongst the new ones being built.
