Today we’d like to introduce you to Bahram Moshrefnoory.
Bahram, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My life journey started in the Middle East as I was born in Tehran, Iran in the early 80’s, right after the Revolution. My family and I lived through the eight-year Iran-Iraq war and saw many close friends and family members directly affected by it. As a result, we decided to flee to the United States and settled upon Sunny Southern California in Sherman Oaks.
After practically leaving everything behind to come here, my family and I were put in a position to have to start all over from scratch. This showed me the level of sacrifice my parents were willing to make for my brother and I’s safety, freedom, and opportunities. This was also always my driving force and motivation in my career and practically every other aspect of my life. I always felt I had to reward them and pay them back by being the best version of myself in every way possible.
We eventually were able to get back on our feet and moved to Palos Verdes where I spent most of my adolescence in. It was also during this period that I really started to develop a love for anything technology related, primarily computers and the internet, which was a relatively new concept at the time. It was intriguing to me how the web would connect people, and allow for access to so much information at your fingertips.
As my love for technology grew, I realized that is the direction I want my career path to go towards. I knew there would be countless opportunities in the field as more and more advancements transpired. As a result, I ended up pursuing degrees in Computer Science and Computer Engineering, and immediately after graduating started working in the field.
My work in the field of information technology began from the ground up, which started with me doing basic computer service and support for companies, and eventually leading me to manage and direct large-scale network infrastructures, data systems, and cybersecurity personnel. While working for various Healthcare, Financial, and Telecommunications companies, I still maintained my love for programming and web development and continued to do so in my free time. This eventually led me to help friends and family with small projects they had and receiving continuous referrals due to providing high-quality work.
After a couple of years of doing web development as a hobby more than anything else, I kept receiving positive feedback and saw many small businesses I helped get launched online. This led me to think about pursuing this as an actual business venture. At this time however my knowledge of the web was limited to only web development, and I knew that by itself would not be enough to help businesses succeed online. I started down a path of educating myself in every aspect of online marketing and advertising strategies, getting certified, reading countless articles, watching many videos, working with mentors, and attending any seminar I thought beneficial.
This all finally led to the formation of Rizer Technology Solutions in 2013.
After almost six years of being in business, I am happy to say we have helped hundreds of happy clients from small businesses to corporations, and have won multiple awards, and received multiple 5-Star reviews and testimonials during the process. Our culture has always been about providing the highest quality service and support, and it continues to be our priority, and the greatest source of reward and satisfaction.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There was definitely a learning curve during the first couple of years of doing business. It had more to do with dealing with the day to day business requirements and operations, managing time between working full-time and running a business, and making sure client expectations were always met and that they were satisfied. But I think these are true for any business, and like most business owners you only get better at it daily. Dealing with challenges and overcoming them is a part of any business, and in doing so you will find yourself in a very rewarding path.
Rizer Technology Solutions – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Rizer Technology Solutions was established in 2013 and is based out of Irvine, California. Rizer was formed with one simple goal in mind, to help businesses get established and grow online. This remains our goal still to this day and is accomplished through creative web development, online marketing, and online advertising strategies. We strive to have businesses rely on us for their comprehensive online needs, and not have to worry about managing multiple vendors to help them succeed online.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Every time I hear a client give positive feedback, and let us know how our services have resulted in them getting more clients, sales, and generating revenue for them, it is a proud moment for me. If I had to think of a specific moment, however, it would have to be the day I decided to make the leap and start this venture.
