Today we’d like to introduce you to TrayDay Sadd.
TrayDay, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
The journey began at birth but the realization & vision came to me in 09 when my bro Celly got me to rap in the mall parking a lot and said I was dope haha that was the little push I needed to get started and take my craft seriously. Once graduating HS in 2013 I was able to work on my music full-time which includes being an artist, producer, engineer, and everything else it takes to be an independent artist putting my 10,000 hours in having to sacrifice time, friendships, & potential relationships on my quest of finding self and being proactive on following my vision.
It’s ups and down for a real one this ain’t for everybody but it was written and I’ve decided that it’s for me. Part of soon to be historic hip hop collective SADD INC. the meaning behind S.A.D.D. is Spirits Achieving Daily Dreams which in retrospect is for anyone who has big dreams and ambitions and the means to accomplish them and a culture for those who have been outcasted who are radicals and understand the importance of doing for self but coming together for the greater of good and positivity. You can find my music on all streaming platforms Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, YouTube &, etc. 50k+ streams and counting “Tray Day SADD“
Understanding the importance of doing for self, but coming together for the great good is so critical. Thank you for sharing that so eloquently. Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
A poem that stuck with me is “The Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost that can give you an idea of how the road is; I’ve always been the type of person who liked to stay to myself and do my own thing because I never liked to follow the crowd and do what everyone else was doing even if it was the easy or popular thing to do.
I’d like to say I’ve taken the road that most people won’t travel through. It’s ups & downs for a real one life is full of twists and turns so you never know what to expect I just choose to walk by faith not sight ya know? But I am grateful and appreciative for every step of the way it’s what separates the good from the great and builds character.
What else should we know?

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
The way I measure success is by how many people you bless and being able to find self-love and happiness by doing what you love to do for a living. And I believe all the materialistic things as some may say are the perks of this acquired success but ultimately I believe these are some keys to success.
