Meet Steven Strick of IT Guy L.A. in Sherman Oaks

Today we’d like to introduce you to Steven Strick.

Steven, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started tinkering with electronics and computers as far back as I can remember. I’ve always been fascinated with technology. One of my strengths is to analyze a problem and come up with either a solution or a workaround. That kind of thinking has helped me succeed in my current role as an IT professional. That is how I approach each job I am hired to do.

It’s been over 30 years since I started building, repairing and upgrading computers. When I started out, computers were a new thing and people really didn’t want to spend money fixing them. Now, it’s a different story. I’m in demand much like a plumber or electrician. When someone’s computer isn’t working, it’s a big deal.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I started my company back in 2006. Creating a new company in Los Angeles is tough. It’s not an easy city to get started in. The first three years were a struggle. But, as I garnered more and more customers, word of mouth referrals grew my business to what it is today.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about IT Guy L.A. – what should we know?
