Today we’d like to introduce you to Gonzalo Leanos.
Gonzalo, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Growing up in Los Angeles and the inland empire has been very difficult as a child I grew up doing bad choices. Wasn’t till my early 20s was when I started to change my mindset went from rapping to starting a clothing line to opening a store that me and my cousins keep on growing every day. And everyday is still a struggle to maintain this mindset and stay focused on the goals we have.
Has it been a smooth road?
Myself and my cousins have been threw almost everything u can think of on this journey we have set out on. We have been threw life-changing accidents, family problems, street violence, robbery, legal problems and much more. which is one reason I will never quit I’ve been to the lowest point so nothing else scares me I am pursuing my dreams for all my people.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
I’m proud that my company is known for doing many different things. One minute u might see us recording a music video the next selling tacos. But I am also very happy we have the SJL store as a hub for all our work and business to be at. And I think what sets us apart is that there isn’t any other store or group of people doing what we are doing all together.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I am a strong believer that any city can be a good city what makes a company is hard work if someones hustles non stop there’s no doubt they will make positive business moves because with every decision you make if it turns out good or bad you learn from it so every time you do a new move you come in with more knowledge to grow and succeed but yes I do think the city I am in is a great city to thrive.
