Life and Work with Kayla Layton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kayla Layton.

Kayla, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
It all started when I was just 16 years old. I worked at Chuck E. Cheese has a party hostess. I also I dressed up as the rat… Hahaha. It was such a rewarding experience being able to make children so happy. I remember one day there was a family that came to me and told me that I looked a lot like a princess. They wanted me to host their daughter’s birthday party outside of Chuck E. Cheese and go visit her at the hospital. She was a child through Make-A-Wish foundation. I fell in love with it and I realized how special it was being able to be such a huge impact someone’s life creating a little bit of magic and happiness. I created it into a business and have been doing it since. I’m currently 25 years old and have another business as well. A few years ago, I got really into fitness. I competed in a fitness competition and decided that I wanted to get certified and start training people myself. I wanted to create a program for people where it was more than just a fitness plan but a friend that they can count on to help them through something that is so personal. I created my brand, Jacked Elsa.

Jacked Elsa incorporates the princess vibe that I have been creating happiness for others, but also fitness which I found a passion. I ended up getting clients all around the world via Instagram and have transformed the lives of over 750 people.

My community of clients are amazing. We formed into a family and it’s truly a blessing that I’ve had this come into my life. I’m thankful that people trust me and count on me to help them discover the best version of themselves. Anybody can get a fitness plan, anybody can follow a diet they find online, but it’s all about believing in yourself and learning to love yourself which is what I try to teach all of my clients!

I’m a certified fitness nutrition specialist with NASM. I Went to Suffolk University and Regents University of London. I just turned 25. My pup coco is my world – he is a Shiba Inu. 💕

I truly hope that I can continue teaching people how to learn to love themselves. Helping people solve their problems and know they’re worth.

So many people live their lives judging themselves and others. I see it over and over and I try to teach people that letting go of judgment is a big key to happiness. Accepting yourself believing yourself and loving yourself will bring you happiness!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I have had no help starting my businesses and it has been an incredibly difficult journey. I’ve had to make a lot of mistakes to grow but I think mistakes are such a beautiful thing in life because without them we would never grow. As I mentioned before I’d love to teach people to let go of judgment. I personally I had to do that to truly understand how to grow. I think most people strive to fit the mold of how to fit in. I always wanted to make everybody happy and be perfect for everybody but in reality, I wasn’t following what I truly wanted to do. My mind is very creative and I’ve always felt different from other people. Once I started letting go of that judgment and really just following what made me happy instead of the norm, I started to see some serious growth and success with my business. I love this quote from the book the 4 agreements. “Your opinion comes from your beliefs, your own ego, and your own dream. People create poison and spread it to others just so we can feel right about our own point of view”

Advice for others would be to just start believing in yourself 100%. Who cares what other people think. It’s going to be scary but hey, that’s awesome! If it was smooth sailing then you should be concerned because you’re not pushing yourself hard enough. The most successful people in life I’ve never had an easy journey to the top. They’re always thinking outside the box.

Please tell us about Jacked Elsa.
I’m an elite international online health coach. My program is different than other programs out there because I specifically try to help people with learning to love themselves along with fitness. It’s very much like a life coaching program than just a fitness program. I’m known for really being there for my clients and making them happy. Clients pay month by month and sign up for custom work out, macros, guidance, my personal cell phone number, phone calls, and a Facebook group that they have access to for other clients to connect with! I take pride in how much effort I put into all my clients!

Were there people and/or experiences you had in your childhood that you feel laid the foundation for your success?
Oh yes! Life is all about learning and growing. Some of my greatest teachers and mentors have taught me the best lessons. A 7th grade teacher Mr. Caulton pushed me out of my shy little shell to be more confident in myself and truly dive headfirst into owning my passions. Mrs. Scarlett my high school business teacher who believed in me with all of my business ideas and motivated me to actually pursue  them! I have had many friends who have also taught me lessons.

Pricing:

  • $125 a month to join Team Jacked Elsa for custom workouts, macros, and plan for success.
