Meet Sharnell Smith of Krave Luxury Hair collection

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sharnell Smith.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Sharnell. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Certified Hiphop became an idea in 2007 2yrs after I graduated from Highschool in 2005. I wanted to be in The industry I tried the music group thing didn’t work out. So I love music all types but Hiphop music is we’re The heart is. I decided to learn the business but also I wanted to help those who aren’t heard. I figured I couldn’t make any type of profit off of that, so I decided to start a hair extension line called The Krave luxury hair collection. The hair industry is such a very popular industry I was hesitant at first but I realized if I were going to sale this, I would sale quality and also big Huge brand which will I’ll also have hair care products as well. Since it’s been minute for certified hip hop, I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do with the company but it will be relaunching very soon I’ll have my own team and staff. The Krave luxury hair collection will be out later this year

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been such a tough few years because I suffer with depression for about 10 years now realizing what it was but it from I dealt with alot of trauma from growing up throughout my teen and adult years with a lot of doubt because a lot of things that I’ve worked toward some people might not have seen but I put a lot of work in but somethings never felt like it was supposed to so that left a lot of doubt in my mind. I am my worst critic..

Krave Luxury hair Collection – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
The Krave luxury hair collection Specializes in hair care products and what sets me aside since everyone is just selling the extensions separate I decided to do glam boxes which you will get four bundles of hair including frontals along with two or three other products with a bonnet people that are selling hair extensions are selling them for a higher price and I’m giving them a bang for their buck I feel like some people that sells these products are selling them and it’s overpriced only because of the cost that your buying the extension in bulk.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Being able to meet different people in entertainment which some I have became really good friends with over the years. And since I’ve always wanted to be music A& R I had a close friend of mines offer me to become his business partner with his music label.
