Meet Amy Bearman of Priti Dyal, Kundalini + Coaching in West Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amy Bearman.

Amy, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
A longtime friend recently said LA must be my spirit animal. “You have blossomed there; I can’t explain it,” she observed. I happen to agree with her. There is a very special kind of energy here, and collaborating with it is just a matter of saying yes.

I moved with my husband and two children from the sleepy surf town of Santa Cruz to Los Angeles four years ago. It didn’t take long for the higher demands, busier schedules and more time in the car to make an imprint on our wellbeing as a family.

The kids seemed to argue nonstop. My husband was busy around the clock. Between his job and the evening law program he was attending, he was almost always spoken for. I began to feel overwhelmed.

Then, through a series of serendipitous events, our of four families met with a powerful shaman who had a profound message for each of us. The message for me was that I was not living my truth, I was not living to my fullest potential. He explained that when I found my purpose, harmony in my home would return.

I knew it was true. I left there determined to become a positive frequency in my home that would carry my family and myself.

It was only two weeks later that began to pursue Kundalini Yoga and Meditation, which I had been fascinated with for a long time, but mistakenly believed was out of my spiritual league. Quite the opposite is true, and in my very first class, I experienced an empowering shift. I began the Level 1 teacher training program soon after and began working with homeless youth in Hollywood, sharing this potent technology with them.

Today I teach and coach entrepreneurs, artists, entertainers, and leaders in the beauty and wellness industry. Equipped with tools and teachings from neuroscience and Kundalini, I know I’m making a difference because I can see it!

I’m so grateful to be a part of the healing and empowering of such beautiful souls.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The rewards have far outweighed the struggles. Still, the hardest part for me has been the need to let certain friendships go. A meditation practice can make it impossible to stay in unhealthy relationships as your self love increases exponentially. The hard part is it’s often not easy to explain that to a person who is growing at a different pace.

Let’s talk about business. Tell us about Priti Dyal, Kundalini + Coaching – what should we know?
Priti Dyal Kundalini and Coaching integrates yoga and meditation with neuroscience to initiate change at the conscious, subconscious, glandular and cellular levels.

Kundalini Yoga and Meditation are my foundation as I incorporate hypnosis, NLP, EFT, TIME Techniques and various other “magic” modalities to facilitate real change and growth in a relatively short time frame.

My method of integration sets me apart from therapists, teachers and coaches who work primarily with the conscious mind.

I help clients get clear on priorities, reprogram limiting beliefs, change the inner dialogue, raise the frequency and get organized. We engage the body, increase energy, strengthen the aura and build confidence. It works!

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My teachers are everything to me and more. Guru Jagat, Guru Singh, Tej, Harijiwan, Gurujas, Dr. Siri Shakti, Raghubir Kintisch, Shaman Durek, Shifu Wang Bo.

Each of these teachers has pushed, supported, and encouraged me to relentlessly pursue becoming one with my Higher Self.
