Conversations with the Inspiring Patty Molina

Today we’d like to introduce you to Patty Molina.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Patty. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I am an artist creating on all surfaces since a young age. I’m from all over the place, but born in Rancho Mirage, Ca. I started expressing myself through watercolor & acrylic paint since I was in kindergarten & slowly started working with ballpoint pens, charcoal, oil paint, graphic design, welding & writing, which made me want to continue learning more. A year later, I learned more about Beauty & Corrective, Theatre, Body Painting, High Fashion, TV & Film, Tech Lab & Special Effects (graduated September 2018). I’m also working more with photography, videography, aerosol, fashion designing & writing. In every surface I create, I try to transmit more of our world, who we are as humans, our emotions, us as energy, healing, positively, a mission in this world, my view through my art.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. There has been a lot of ups & downs, but I am grateful for it all. I moved a lot growing up & I didn’t have a stable life so it was difficult to stay focus sometimes. But managed to always create.

I’ve learned & encourage people to stay discipline, organization, motivation, balance, understanding & constantly. No matter how hard it gets, try to focus on what your purpose & mission is. Focus on how you can get there. Start by setting yourself small goal & slowly start building them up. Write them all down. It’s not easy sometimes but it’s all worth it. Trust the universe.

Remember that practice makes perfect. No matter where you are, always try to create anything with anything.

Please tell us more about your artwork, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I work with watercolors, acrylics, ballpoint pens, charcoal, oil paint, graphic designing, welding, makeup (all types), photography, etc. I’m proud to standing where I am now, as I continue allowing myself to grow in all ways, creating on all surfaces. Constantly learning & unlearning.

We all got a different way of spreading our message & who we really are, through everything we create, we are all different. We are all growing at different speeds. And that’s the beauty of life.

Who do you look up to? How have they inspired you?
My stepmother & my grandma have always inspired me so much. They are warriors, they have always thought me to believe in myself no matter how hard that may look like. Nothing is impossible. You can do anything you set your mind too. They have shown me how to appreciate life & live to the fullest, to do everything de corazón.
