Today we’d like to introduce you to Aliza Leger.
Aliza, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Hi! I’m a 10-year old actress. I really love acting. I have a very big imagination, so acting comes easy for me, haha! I’ve been acting for a few years now. I’ve lived in PA almost my entire life, so I’m excited to start acting here in LA.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I would say never give up! I know it sounds cliche, but it’s true! If you love what you do, you have to keep going,
As a kid myself, I can tell you this: you need to have tough skin. You’re not always going to book every part… but that’s okay! It’s only going to make you stronger for the next audition. Plus, it makes it even more exciting when you’re told that you got the role!
Please tell us more about what you do, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I specialize in being the best actor I can be. I started acting a few years ago and have loved every single moment. I recently shot a commercial for Sesame Place and got to ride on a rollercoaster over and over again, lol!
I also love to dance, model, and I’m a gymnast as well.
Though I’ve only been in a few projects so far, I’m excited to see what the future has to offer.
My mom is an actor herself, so it’s fun going through the process with her.
What I am most proud of is inspiring other kids. I want to teach other kids to not be afraid of following their dreams. I have a lot of supporters on my Instagram and the daily messages that I get inspire me to continue doing what I love.
We’re interested to hear your thoughts on female leadership – in particular, what do you feel are the biggest barriers or obstacles?
Equal pay. I believe that it’s time to close the gender pay gap.
