Thanks for sharing your story with us Chris. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
velofix is a Mobile Bike Shop. Basically a full-service bike shop in the back of a Mercedes Sprinter Van. Our customers book a service or delivery on their smartphones and the Bike Shop comes to them, their home or office or wherever they are. The business was started with my 2 partners because we could not get our bike serviced in a timely manner and the level of professionalism was simply not good enough. We launched our first Mobile Shop in Jan 2013 and now have 90 Franchise Partners in North America. We work with individual customers, Corporate customers (FaceBook, Google, MicroSoft, Intel, Snapchat, Starbucks to name a few) and Events.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Launching a business is never a smooth road! One of the major challenges we had when we launched, was getting any suppliers to sell to us because we were not a “Brick & Mortar” retail store. Now that is not a problem but it was a major struggle when we started

velofix is a premium service Mobile Bike Shop that allows customers to “Save Time. Ride More”. A customer books us on their smartphone and our Mobile Bike Shop comes to them. We are a full-service Bike Shop in a Mercedes Sprinter Van. We also work with Corporate Clients like Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Starbucks, Intel, Four Seasons Hotels. We are proud that we have 90 Franchise Partners all across North America and we have been able to allow people to live their dream and own their own Bike Shop. Our service is premium and all of our Mechanics are professionally certified. You can find a velofix Mobile Shop out supporting community events most weekends
