Meet Natalia Hudson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalia Hudson.

Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
My photography path takes its way back to when my youngest daughter was born – over six years ago. I got my first DSLR camera from my brother-in-law, and that’s when it started. My daughter was my model – every day, every time… Then my youngest daughter was born, and it took a whole new spin in my soon-to-be photography career. As she grew and I remained a stay at home mom (and I don’t see anything wrong with that), I started to feel that I needed to take my experience to the next level. I started photographing other kids, then families, then pregnant women, etc. My business took off, and I was enjoying capturing unforgettable memories for my clients. A few months ago my son was born. I had a little break, then took a deep breath and now ready to roll with more experience than ever.

Please tell us about your art.
Most people think that a photographer is someone who comes, presses a button on their camera and leaves – the job is done. But it is far from the truth. A photographer is an artist. When he opens Photoshop, that’s when his real work begins. Every photographer has their style, their preferences, their vision of their art. Some may love it; others may hate it. My goal as a photographer is to create memories that will last forever. I love candid pictures – kids running, babies smiling, parents looking at their munchkins with such a joy in their eyes. The best prize for me is when I come back to my client’s house for yet another photo session I see the pictures that I took of them last time on their walls, canvases – beautifully framed artwork.

How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work?
I have a website – www.photo-losangeles.com

FB page – Facebook.com/imageproductionla

Instagram – @natasha_hudson_photography

The best support for me is word of mouth. My clients refer me to their friends and friends of friends all the time, which simply means – they love my work.
