Today we’d like to introduce you to Jade Turgel.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
Born in South Africa to artist socialists, raised globally with a camera in my hand, storyteller by trade, love to capture the human condition.
Please tell us about your art.
I am a photographer, potter, writer, and filmmaker. I love to evoke emotion in the view and tell a story. I think art should have a perspective and a voice. When I do my commercial art, I want to evoke passion in the viewer.
What do you think is the biggest challenge facing artists today?
overstimulation and overexposure by our audience, everyone has seen everything and done everything, the viewer is jaded and cynical. You have to work much harder to truly reach your audience now.

My creative projects are not online yet, but I have been working on a very important project for several years now. Information for the show and work will be available on social media platforms.
