Meet Veni Vici of Campustainment in Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Veni Vici.

Veni, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
While on a Track and Field field partial scholarship at Stephen F. Austin State University, I was injured and my attention redirected. A few friends and I thought it would be a great idea if we started doing parties to make some money. During this time, I felt like being successful at sports was over and I felt a bit lost. After a few good parties, I thought It would be cool if we did party tours. I didn’t have a way of getting the word out for promotion nor did I have the talent to promote quickly. I decided to start learning how social media works. I was very intrigued by how someone could make so much happen with just a computer and/or a smartphone right at their fingertips.

Immediately following that summer, I moved to Miami, FL where I thought I could get guidance from my father who built the most famous strip club in the world “King Of Diamonds”. Excited and eager to gain attention and growth, I planned an event with three different fraternity chapters of Kappa Alpha Psi Incorporated, “South Florida Nupes.” I had the biggest college strip club party you could imagine. From then on, I knew if I keep going, I can turn this into something huge. I only had an interest in campuses and college students because as a student I had to leave school in order to learn how to succeed in the world of entertainment.

I spent a year and half of making $50 per week, walking hundreds of miles per day across Miami, Florida just to be able to network and grow my social media marketing knowledge with Spectacular Smith from Grammy-winning group Pretty Ricky. After hours of dedication and hard work, he asked me to move to Los Angeles with him to build up a social media marketing company. We would be utilizing music and sports celebrities. After a year of work, we made Forbes List and Inc. 500 fastest growing companies in the world. We were number #262.

Today, Campustainment is growing. We are not only in Miami but have expanded to LA, Dallas, Houston, and Atlanta. Our dedication combined with no pre-determined route on what someone interested in touring entertainment should do to be successful has led to this expansion. We are really opening the eyes of others and getting positive attention from brands and apps who are looking to expand through the United States and focused on adding value students.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Not at all, I’ve gotten money stolen, been used, manipulated, lied to and promised a lot of things along my route. However, there are better days if you don’t give up.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Campustainment story. Tell us more about the business.
Campusatinment is an interactive entertainment brand that caters to college students around the United States, by first introducing them to a valuable panel that consists of influencers, celebs, and highly educated individuals that they look up to “today”. Then bring in the entertainment that consists of contests, performances, meet & greets and much more. Our Idea is to bring students the best experience when it comes to brands, entertainment, and education. We understand not only the culture but what they personally desire by having a group of Campustainment brand ambassadors on each campus, which are all students.
