Meet Francis Cronin of Rough Set in West Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Francis Cronin.

Francis Cronin walked over 500 miles from San Francisco to LA, sleeping out rough under the stars every night, performing stand up comedy along the way and raised $20,000 for Homeless Health Care Los Angeles. He was armed with nothing more than a cellphone a sleeping bag and a small backpack.

Has it been a smooth road?
On the morning after his first night living out, Francis picked up an eye injury that threatened the loss of an eye. He battled severe pain in his shins, food poisoning, one of the worst rainstorms wine countries has seen and encountered curious skunks, coyotes, angry dogs along the way.

One encounter on a railroad track just north of Santa Barbara left him wondering if he was being stalked by a mountain line. Paw prints in dirt had those who followed his journey on social media and in the global press left Francis and the viewers unsure of what was out there with him.

While sleeping rough out in doorways, bus stops and anywhere he could find shelter meant he was weary and exposed on his close to marathon a day journey.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Rough Set – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and the least?
Best: The weather is great. You can plan to flake on a barbecue week in advance.

Worst: The parking can be so bad that when I leave LA, the massive availability of parking gives me anxiety. Just kidding. It’s hard to think of something I dislike about LA when it has treated me so well.
