Today we’d like to introduce you to Madeline Rose.
Madeline, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I experienced many forms of communication with the unseen world as a child, particularly through the dream realm. I was known in my family as the one with the wild dreams, and I would always share the vividness of my nighttime adventures, even if it didn’t make sense to others. I would dream of being completely different people or living on far off planets, engulfed in the details and emotions of these journeys. As I grew older, it became more difficult for me to differentiate between what happened while I slept and what was unfolding in my awake state.
The intensity of what was occurring in those realms seemed too blurred between the realities of my day-to-day life, and I began to feel that I was living in two worlds. At age 15, my mental health wavered as my dreams became darker and I began feeling a heightened level of sensitivity to energy in my both my awake and sleep states. I had no understanding of how to work with these sensations, so they would manifest as anxiety and panic attacks whenever I felt a build up of energy. After the waves of overwhelm hit, I would crash down into the shadows of misunderstanding and find myself drowning in symptoms of depression.
In an attempt to find a solution to the intensity of my moods, I was put on antidepressants. Although this medication calmed the storm, it also made me incredibly numb to my senses, and I lost all connection to my feeling of purpose. I dove even deeper into the ocean of uncertainty and would find myself floating into the abyss of suicidal idealizations, constantly seeking to run away from myself and the world. I was blessed with an incredible family and a beautiful childhood that didn’t fit the description in my psychology textbook for what I was experiencing, so I learned how to push these thoughts down.
In this silencing, I disconnected completely from what my body and my mind was trying to tell me. I would try to sleep to run away, but my dreams became something I feared as I would constantly face some of the most darkest shadows every night. All elements of my day and night realities were overwhelming me, and I was terrified by how lost I felt in it all. I spent many years in this disconnected state, pushing through high school, college and a career in film and television with the sheer determination to prove to myself and others that I was not suffering. Despite my attempts to keep the pain silenced, I would still feel this tiny voice inside of me screaming to be heard and crying out for change.
After ignoring the signs for so long, I finally came to the conclusion that I needed to focus my attention on getting better. I began to realize that the long hours and stress on set were not conducive to my healing, so I left behind a successful job and went searching for myself. Along with that path, I was gifted with the most amazing friends, teachers, and mentors who gently helped to steer me into the direction of my truth. It was on that road that I stumbled into The Crystal Matrix in Atwater Village and began my journey with crystals. After years of medication and therapy, I was in total amazement that my mental health and emotional waves were becoming balanced as I worked with the energies of the crystals more and more.
At the store, I met the most formative crystal teachers of my life – Laura Ellis, Joshua Zain, and Patricia Bankins. Under their wings, I was taught the ins and outs of working with these magical rocks and introduced into the beautiful world of metaphysical healing. As I learned how to feel the energies of the stones, I also began feeling my own energy and tapping back into my sensitivity once again. Instead of being overwhelmed like I had in the past, this supported reawakening allowed me to gently navigate these sensations and have fun with what I was feeling. The most beautiful thing was seeing how this mystical approach to life was actually opening me up to my sense of purpose by connecting me into the divinity of the Universe and support of The Great Spirit.
Around the same time, my dear friend Jordan Phillips and I met a group of new friends who were building a conscious community of like-minded young adults focused around mindful living, connection to the Earth, and justice for all people in our collective awakening and evolution. This community of friends shaped my reality in such a pivotal way and helped me to find my footing on this spiritual path, one where I was not just in the clouds but grounded in the heart of the change needed for the World. With the support of the community organizers Shira Barlas and Colton Jones, I flourished and was able to connect even deeper within myself to unearth the truth of my soul that I had pushed so far down.
As I continued to blossom, I was blessed with being hired at The Crystal Matrix. This opportunity allowed me to further my relationship with the stones and learn the ins and outs of the mineral world. I also received the gift of apprenticeship working directly with Laura, Josh, and Patricia as they so lovingly shared their wisdom, knowledge and insights. As I worked at the store more and more, I saw the incredible affects that crystals had on each person’s journey and the true potential healing to happen outside of my own process. Being a helping hand and witness to a customer’s journey showed me the importance of this work and the place I had within it.
Through my personal healing journey and by working at the store, I learned so many incredible techniques and tools that completely changed my life for the better. As I became healthier and stronger in my truth, I realized that I had a calling to share this healing with others. I saw so many people around me who were also stuck in the cycle of suffering from anxiety, depression, and disconnection from their purpose and I knew that the light that helped me would also help them. I had been so incredibly blessed to have been guided through my healing, and I knew it was my turn to offer back those gifts to others. I began taking classes and learning how to work with the subtle energies of the body. Through each course, I awakened my intuitive abilities and opened up my connection to Spirit so that I could become a conduit for sacred healing work.
As my gifts developed more, I was given teachings from my Spirit Guides and Council while deep in meditation that showed me how to heal meridian systems and auric grids of people, places, and objects. Around this time, I received my Crystal Healing Certification through Patricia Bankins’ TransCrystal Therapy technique which applied my knowledge and love for crystals with my understanding of the human body grids. The combination of my physical and etheric teachers shaped my foundation for how to utilize these learned techniques alongside my innate understanding of the multi-faceted realms of existence. Soon, I felt myself being guided to begin offering my healings and build my metaphysical business. I took my crystals, ceremonial tools, and intuition and developed Madeline Rose Healing.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
For so long, I viewed my journey as a struggle, but I have now reached a point where I trust that everything unfolded exactly as it needed. Every experience I had that took me through the depths of my shadows was an opportunity for me to grow stronger and get to know these realms more intimately so that I could become a better support for others who are going through the same journey.
This all made sense to me the most when I began researching the history of ancient shamanic practices, and I learned about the initiations that were conducted in Siberia. These initiations ushered the training shaman through a rite of passage that involved a physical illness or psychological crisis. This experience would take the shaman deep into the underworld and familiarize them with this realm.
In this journey, they would be able to receive information from the shadow world where often disease, mental illness or suffering would reside. This would allow the shaman to forever be a conduit between the worlds to assist those trapped in the cycle of darkness. I now see that I underwent my own personal initiation into the underworld in my teens and that even without the necessary tools at the time, I was guided moment by moment through the evolution of my healing.
I see the beauty in the dance of the worlds now and truly have such deep respect for this gift I hold within me. I pray that my story can act as a reference for those who may have undergone similar experiences or are currently feeling overwhelmed by the inability to navigate this energy.

I offer a range of spiritual guidance and energetic healing work to help better align people with their authentic selves, their purpose and the innate healing held within them. The Crystal Healing technique I provide addresses the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies through the chakras to help clear and balance these systems. To do this, single crystals or crystal grids are placed at the chakra centers to assist the opening and removing of energetic blocks so that the chakras can function properly.
This, in turn, opens up space for the client to release pain, trauma, or old energies that accumulated from this lifetime or even past lifetimes that are stored in any of the body systems. Through my ability to see between the veils, I am able to retrieve information about the root cause of these blocks and find the source of the energetics workings at hand. I then assist in repairing these systems by filling the body with light and realigning the meridians so that both the internal and external energetics are working in harmony.
Each session is different depending on what is needed for the client on their journey as well as the direction I receive from their personal Spirit Guides. I’ve been able to adapt this healing technique and apply it to House Clearings when a home is in need of energetic release, transition, or removal of unwanted spirits. In this service, I also utilize crystal grids in a relationship with my energetic grid work to bring back the life and flow of energy in a home. Again, this process varies depending on the issues at hand, but the technique works universally to clear out the root cause of the blocks and realign the meridians of a space.
I also offer Intuitive Astrological Readings that provide spiritual guidance, insight into soul purpose, and direction on how to work with the current transiting planets. These readings combine my years of astrological knowledge with my psychic gifts so that I’m able to translate the messages of the stars. The planets provide a galactice roadmap for me to tap into the obstacles, lessons, and opportunities that a soul chooses through incarnation. It is my honor to work with such ancient understandings of the Solar System and to be able to take a look into the beautiful unfolding of a soul’s journey through the planets.
My goal as a Healer and Intuitive is to be a light for those who are seeking a relationship with themselves, their purpose, and The Divine. The services I offer are means of healing into order to clear the blockages that are holding one back from achieving that connection. Through my experience of personal healing, I have found the beauty in every moment of this existence and I long to share that with others. I wish to assist other soul’s as they reclaim their truths and rise to the full potential of their spiritual nature in human form. Being a channel for healing is my greater honor, and I am forever grateful for how The Divine has guiding me to this path.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
For me, success is when I surrender fully to the sacred unfolding of The Divine. When I do this, I am able to let go of fear, control, and judgment so I can merge my truth wholeheartedly with the Universe and become a channel for Spirit. It truly is a daily choice to show up for my purpose and serve the greater good of this planet, this species, and the collective consciousness.
Some days are more successful than others depending on how much I’m willing to trust in Spirit and the beautiful play of the Universe at hand. It’s much easier to forget that we are supported, guided, and loved by the unseen world at all times and instead become a victim to the chaos of a seemingly purposeless existence. However, throughout my journey, I have learned the importance of my decision to become a witness and a player in the magical dance of this physical manifestation we call Life.
By connecting to Mother Earth and her elements, I am able to see the beauty in all things great and small. Every animal has a message, every sun ray has a gift, and each soul I meet is a teacher in my Earth Walk. I find my existence to be much more easeful when I remind myself that everything is exactly as it needs to be. This allows me to honor the process and pay gratitude to every moment of this incredible existence. When I reach this space of appreciation for All That Is, I know that I have succeeded in my path.
