Thanks for sharing your story with us Chad. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
I have been a creative individual since I was very young, the entrepreneur inside of me began to come through early on as well. I quickly realized that working to achieve someone else’s dream or business was not in my cards. I knew I needed to strive to become a boss and follow my own dreams and fulfill my destiny. I was introduced and trained in the keratin lash lift treatment in the early months of 2015, and I had a gut feeling that this was going to be something “BIG” in the beauty industry.

With a background in social media and marketing, I immediately began to brainstorm ideas and branding strategies for a business I would soon trademark as “The Lash Lift” I personally feel marketing is key to a successful startup and making sure that you focus not only on the work you do but customer service skills as well. I constantly strive to listen to my clients as many come in looking to vent and even ask for advice. I think that being personable and being that ear to listen to has helped push my business further and truly feel that clients return for the service just as much as they do the overall experience.

Has it been a smooth road?
Los Angeles is very competitive, and unfortunately, many people will do whatever it takes to get to the top, that’s great but “not at my expense,“ I’m good at reading people. I can feel people out the moment they open their mouth, if I get the vibe they want to ride on coat tails or have the intention to in some way screw me over, I immediately cut them out of my life. I don’t have time for pointless drama and negative people.

I remind myself daily that it’s rising above these situations that have got me where I am today. Therefore, I’m thankful and so blessed to have been on this path and overcome these struggles, my own struggles. Without a rocky path full of struggles I wouldn’t be the man I am today.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into The Lash Lift story. Tell us more about the business.
I specialize in the keratin lash lift treatment. It’s a natural alternative to lash extensions and gives you instant results that open up the eyes and give you an overall bold and fresh look with no maintenance. I’m known for being a master trainer in this trending treatment as well as distributing our product into some of the best salons and business around the US.

I’m proud to say I’m a leader in the lash lift brand that is used at Nordstrom’s spa, huge hotels on the Las Vegas strip and as well as this, still being able to actually do the treatment on clients on a daily basis. I take pride in every client and ensure they leave the room feeling 100 percent satisfaction with their treatment, this is and will always be my number one priority.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
The beauty industry is always shifting and constantly changing; it’s important to stay up to date with fads and relevant when it comes to trends.

I plan on pushing the product into more beauty salons and medi-spas. I’ve added other services to the lash lift menu, some of these include microblading, permanent makeup and of course training in these treatments as well.

I feel my purpose in this industry is to make people feel beautiful from the inside out, whether it be with my work, words or even just a listening ear. Everyone is beautiful and unique, and many don’t hear or see this enough. Big things are to come.
