Los Angeles conjures images of sun, clear blue skies, beaches and palm trees. It’s also an energetic metropolis that attracts unconventional thinkers and is home to many of the world’s top visual artists. Born and raised here, I was exposed to the arts and the business of art through my father’s graphic design business where I spent a lot of time as a teenager. After graduating with an MPTV degree from UCLA I pursued work in film and photography and never looked back. I enjoy working with clients, collaborating, storytelling and creating and am always looking for something new and different to try. Read More>>

Growing up in rural Indiana, I had wanted to be a designer in the fashion industry since I was a little girl. Every waking moment in school was working towards that goal. Always sketching, plastering my room in editorials from not only fashion publications but surf-wear too! I very specifically wanted to work for Roxy / Quiksilver one day. Yes. An Indiana girl, surrounded by “amber waves of grain”, which, sadly, cannot be surfed. There was something about the person they depicted in their brand – natural, confident, glowing, fierce, and determined – that I felt was missing in high-end visions. I had to be a part of it. I began my yoga journey 20 years ago in Austin, Texas with Mehtab Benton. There were about half a dozen of us in a 200-hour Kundalini training being held at his home before he and his wife, Guru Karam, opened multiple Yoga Yoga locations across the area. I went on to study multiple movement therapies such as the Alexander Technique, Laban, Feldenkrais, LeCoq, Skinner Releasing Technique, and then became a Certified Massage Therapist. After moving to Los Angeles I became an Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor and an Advanced Relax & Renew™ Trainer and ultimately found my passion in teaching people Conscious Relaxation from an Ayurvedic perspective. 10 years ago I learned that you can professionally draw & paint for a living… the rest is history. I began my career working as a freelancer on small gigs here and there; magazine covers, art for online card games, a couple of tv shows as well as commercials & games. It all began with a passion for games and wanting to contribute to something that was a big part of my childhood. I began drawing just like many others out there, drawing stick figures. I never took drawing serious until my senior year of high school, when I was around 17 years old. After many years of practice & dedication, I can now finally add a little more detail to my stick figures. It all began with a passion and has now landed as a career. Read More>>

I was born in raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where I was training to become a professional ballet dancer. I was attending an arts school and needed an additional art credit. There was a choice between pottery and photography, and I remember honestly feeling indifferent. My counselor encouraged me to choose photography. She was someone that I respected, so I took her advice and signed up. This class ended up being my favorite class! Yes – even more than my dance classes. Read More>>

I can describe my career in arts and media as a journey of soft knocks. I ended up in the hallway many times unsure of which door to open but instinct would lead me to knock softly on one and it would open. Read More>>

Growing up I was heavily involved in the arts. My parents enrolled me in adult painting classes in second grade and I naturally grasped how to apply paint to the canvas. I started out with landscapes, learning perspective, light, and texture. As I grew older I broke away from traditional art and started to develop my own style. During this time I immersed myself deep into the skate scene and became obsessed with skateboard companies and their logos. I would recreate their logos and come up with my own. When I entered high school that’s when I knew what I wanted to do. Read More>>

Growing up I was always involved in three major things- music, video games, and football. Being a musician taught me a great about being disciplined, a team player, and a leader while the other two things were really just hobbies at the time. Later in life around high school I had devoted most of my time to music, really honing my skills as an alto saxophone player but at some point I realized that it was no longer my dream. I had been watching my father develop and create a startup business which was very exciting to me. Gradually I became very interested in business and entrepreneurship and decided it would be my focus of study when I went to college. Read More>>

I became interested in makeup effects when I discovered and watched all the Evil Dead movies for the first time. I started out by taking a stage makeup course at a local community college. From the class, my teacher helped get me in touch with a local special effects artist named Devon who was working on independent films and a lot of his own personal projects, some of which were really amazing. He helped introduce me to the work it entailed and I got a better understanding of how to make prosthetics, do life castings and things like that. Read More>>
