Meet Nikko Panti of Now PR — Los Angeles in DTLA’s Fashion District

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nikko Panti.

Nikko, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I have been in the marketing and public relations industry since 2014, mostly concentrating on the digital aspects of the industry. I started my career in the Philippines, where I managed and made the content of the local social media accounts of retail brands and international brands (mostly fashion, beauty, and lifestyle) like Oliviers and Co., Smashbox, Lush, Muji, Aeropostale, Superga, Dune London, Pottery Barn, and many more.

When I moved to Los Angeles, I dabbled in different jobs before landing a career in PR and marketing.

Has it been a smooth road?
I’ve encountered and faced some obstacles along the way, one of them is the struggle to put yourself out there. You have to find your way into reaching your dreams; the road will be bumpy and unpaved, but once you reach it the happiness of success that it will bring you is just priceless.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Now PR — Los Angeles story. Tell us more about the business.
I’m the Publicity Manager for Now PR, a full-service public relations, and digital agency. It’s the quintessential destination for brands globally. The agency is the brainchild of jewelry designer Tash Greizen who put the Now PR brand on the map. We help brands to tell their story and be relevant in a fast-paced industry while keeping an eye on the future.

Now PR as a whole specializes in brand development via full-service publicity — from editorial and publication features, influencer involvement, media outreach and relations, celebrity placements, red carpet and event appearances, branding and brand development, and many more.

I’m proud to say that our agency links the industry and the global market. We represent international brands and designers who hail from the Philippines to the Middle East to Mexico.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
PR is an ever-evolving industry, with the significant changes that are happening in the industry through technological advancements which include social media. The PR industry is keeping afloat by adapting publicity strategies that are relevant and engaging. But, I’m still a firm believer of the traditional media, but the digital arena will help the brands that we represent reach untapped markets.
