Meet Monika Dr Demmler of Stony Sugarskull in Central LA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Monika Dr Demmler.

Monika, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
After I have finished my Ph.D. on “Biophilia and the Aesthetics of Blues, Jazz, and Hip-Hop Music in African-American Prose Fiction,” I decided to start producing music, art, writing myself.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not been a smooth road at all, especially regarding finances.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Stony Sugarskull – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I’ve started a band, I have my first paintings shown next weekend in LA, DJing and right now, I’m planning to publish my first novel.

Moreover, I started to become self-employed with my Ph.D., which means I offer to tutor, lectures on the healing functions of music, translations, and as a music journalist.

Apart from that, I’m planning to open my first German vegan restaurant.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Regarding music, I’m looking forward to touring in America, Europe, and Asia.

As I’ve mentioned before, I’m looking forward to opening my first artsy, German/Berlin style restaurant.
