Today we’d like to introduce you to GodBody Cash.
Hi GodBody, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started singing seriously around 16 when I got into college, but my journey really took shape when I moved to North County San Diego. I went through a tough transition and almost ended up homeless, but an adopted family in Fallbrook and Oceanside took me in and supported me.
While I was out there, I spent a lot of time at the beach, reading the Bible, listening to music, and singing out loud. That’s how I started connecting with people. I met local musicians who encouraged me, and eventually one even gifted me a guitar, which pushed me to learn and grow as an artist.
From there, I got more involved in the local music scene, meeting artists, collaborating, and recording as much as I could. It became a real grind, being in studios, experimenting with different sounds, and sharpening my craft. Living in San Diego exposed me to a wide range of influences like hip hop, reggae, and ska, which really helped shape my sound and identity as an artist.
As I continued to grow, I started stepping into bigger opportunities, performing in cities like Las Vegas, Houston, and Miami. That’s when things really began to expand beyond the local scene.
At the same time, I was building my presence online, growing my social media and establishing my digital footprint while continuing to create and refine my sound. I’ve also been able to take part in philanthropic efforts, and I am currently working on opportunities in television as well. It has all been a steady evolution of growth, consistency, and expanding my reach as an artist.
When I came back home to Georgia, I was in a car accident and sustained a brain injury. That was a really difficult time for me. I did not know if I would ever be able to create music again. It affected me mentally and emotionally, but it also gave me a new perspective and a deeper appreciation for being able to do what I love.
Now I use my story to advocate for mental health and brain injury awareness. I have had the opportunity to be part of a local TV commercial, so people are starting to see that side of me as well. At this point, it is bigger than just music. It is about impact, resilience, and using my voice to inspire others.
My social media journey really started with TikTok. That was the first platform where I saw significant growth and began gaining global attention. From there, everything else started to build.
Now my presence has expanded across multiple platforms. I have grown to over 700,000 followers on TikTok, over 100,000 on Instagram, more than 125,000 on Facebook, around 50,000 on Lemon8, and about 30,000 subscribers on Snapchat. Altogether, that has grown into a community of over a million people across platforms.
For me, it is more than just numbers. It is about connection and impact. Social media has opened doors into television opportunities and helped me build a global audience for my music. As I continue to release new music, the goal is to reach people worldwide and create something meaningful that resonates on a larger scale.
Long term, I want to use that platform for something bigger than entertainment. I am focused on philanthropy and building something that supports people who have overcome injury and adversity. I really see my music as a form of ministry, something that can inspire, uplift, and bring people together while also expanding into television and film.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a smooth road at all. I’ve faced real challenges along the way, including periods of potential homelessness, not having stable housing, and struggling to find consistent income while pursuing music.
More recently, I also went through a serious setback after sustaining a brain injury from a car accident. That was a major moment for me, both personally and creatively.
All of these have been obstacles in my journey to becoming a household name in music and entertainment. But at the same time, those experiences shaped me. They built resilience, gave me perspective, and pushed me to keep going.
So while the road hasn’t been easy, every challenge has played a role in preparing me for the level I know I’m stepping into.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a social media influencer, musician, and recording artist. I’m most known for my presence across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Lemon8, and Snapchat, where I create real life style content. That includes IRL posts, live streaming, and engaging directly with my audience in real time. I’m also a contracted live streamer and verified across most of the platforms I’m active on.
My content centers around mental health, positivity, and authenticity. I like to mix real conversations with humor and personality so people can feel both inspired and entertained at the same time.Currently, I am working closely with my fellow Valdosta State University alum and Music Business Manager, Josh Brown, and the Artist management team at 7Gz Network, based in Atlanta, Georgia. Our core values at 7Gz Network are as follows: God, Grind, Grit, Goals, Growth, Glory, and Gratitude.Expect new music and follow @Godbodycash on all social media platforms to get the latest GodbodyCash content!
What I’m most proud of is the real impact I’ve been able to have on people. I’ve had individuals reach out and share that something I said or something I sang helped them through some of their darkest moments, even stopping them from hurting themselves. That means everything to me. It shows me that what I’m doing goes far beyond content or music.
What sets me apart is that I don’t just create content, I connect. I bring my real life, my challenges, and my growth into what I do, and that makes it relatable. Whether it’s through music or social media, my goal is always to uplift, motivate, and create something that people can genuinely feel.
