Meet Chrissy Kling and Nicole Levine of Good Carma Studio in Westlake Village

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chrissy Kling and Nicole Levine.

Uniting her passion for forging relationships with strategic marketing know-how, Chrissy has built one of the unique agencies known for building connections between brands, celebrities, and consumers. With deep-rooted experience in the fashion, celebrity and marketing worlds, she is redefining traditional product placement with Good Carma Studio.

Chrissy began her career as an apprentice for celebrity stylist Phillip Bloch, before striking out on her own to develop two highly successful two apparel lines, My-Tee and Hope & Glorie, which were sold in Bloomingdale’s, Barneys New York and other high-end stores over the course of a decade. Having amassed a valuable network of celebrity, fashion and PR industry relationships, when an external business setback forced her to re-examine her focus, she decided to turn her strengths into Good Carma Studio with her sister Nicole.

Today, Chrissy is recognized for her expertise in creating brand and product placement-focused campaigns based on authenticity and longevity. From charitable luncheons to engage stars with non-profits such as No Kid Hungry, to hosting a Back-to-School product forum for celebrity families, to pairing high-profile trainer Erin Oprea with Reiki master Kelsey Patel for a day of total body and mind wellness, she knows how to bring stars and brands together and tastefully share it with consumers through strategic traditional and social media placement in partnership with today’s leading PR firms.

Chrissy’s expertise, creativity, and insight has attracted a cross-section of consumer brands such as La Croix Sparkling Water, Usana, Pixi Beauty, Stephen Joseph Gifts, Hasbro, Consensio Wine Cellars and Emma J, and celebrities including Shonda Rhimes, Constance Zimmer, Brooke Burke, Nancy O’Dell, Lacey Chabert and Bailee Madison, among others. She has also coined marketing events including the signature Girls Night Out and Baby Shower platforms, providing celebrities and brands with unique experiential opportunities. Her work consistently appears in today’s top-tier traditional and social media channels.

Destined to work with talent both in the spotlight and behind-the-scenes, Nicole began her career placing hair and makeup for an LA-based agency that handled television show and commercial bookings. As a professional makeup artist herself and having a keen interest in design, she then joined her sister Chrissy in launching the highly successful apparel lines My-Tee and Hope & Glorie, enjoying a decade of success in the fashion industry.

As social media began to emerge as a new marketing avenue, Nicole capitalized on the format with the launch of Frankie Hearts Fashion, a style and lifestyle blog. Through this medium, she discovered a true calling for integrating and working with brands to showcase other designs while building her own brand. With Chrissy at the helm of Good Carma Studio, in 2010 Nicole decided to team back up with her and join Good Carma Studio, parlaying this area of interest into a Talent Branding division of the firm in 2016.

Today, Nicole manages all aspects of Good Carma’s business operations, from creating and negotiating deals to overseeing the firm’s growth and leadership. She also manages the day-to-day talent relations, working closely Good Carma Studio’s celebrity roster to ensure they are paired with the right brands and covered from all angles.
