Rising Stars: Meet Dr. La Toya Davis of Tallahassee

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. La Toya Davis.

Hi Dr. La Toya, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m Dr. La Toya Davis—an Oracle, spiritual teacher, intuitive guide, author, and the founder of CHI Healing Institute. My work is rooted in the quest for authenticity and freedom, and it sits at the intersection of ancestral wisdom, the Akashic Records, and practical transformation tools that help people shift their lives from the inside out.

For years, I was the person who could “hold it together” on the outside while feeling deeply unhappy on the inside. I’ve always been intuitive, but it took time to understand that intuition wasn’t just something I carried. It was something I was responsible for. I realized I had an ability to get to the core of what someone was actually dealing with—the root beneath the story. As my path deepened, I started to recognize a pattern: people who looked like they had it all together were often silently struggling, not because they lacked discipline or intelligence, but because they were living from programs that were misaligned with their soul’s truth. Inherited beliefs, unprocessed grief, survival strategies, and spiritual disconnection can quietly run the show, even when life looks successful on paper. And as I navigated my own healing, it became clear that I could help others identify and dismantle those invisible patterns.

A major turning point for me was my divorce. It became the catalyst for everything I teach now. On the outside, I was capable and accomplished. Internally, I had to confront where I was operating from programming instead of truth—what I was loyal to, what I was tolerating, and what I had been taught to normalize. That season forced me to rebuild from the inside out, and it clarified the work I was here to do. It was also the season that introduced me to the Akashic Records and deepened my study of the soul and universal truth. It strengthened what I already knew as an energy worker, and my purpose became undeniably clear.

CHI Healing Institute was born out of that rebuilding. It started as a way to make sense of what I was living through and to create a path for other people who were also “successful” on paper, but privately stuck, exhausted, or disconnected from themselves. Over time, it grew into an ecosystem of teachings, trainings, and experiences designed to help people return to themselves, reclaim sovereignty, and create a life that actually fits who they are becoming.

My work is centered on conscious liberation—helping people identify and detach from the ancestral, societal, and karmic programs that have been running their lives so they can reconnect with their true self and operate from their soul’s authority. I’ve developed frameworks that make spiritual growth tangible, including my SHIFT Protocol™, and I’ve expanded my teaching through books, online courses, workshops, and retreats.

At its core, my story is about remembering. Remembering that we are not powerless, and that alignment is not just a concept. It’s a practice that changes everything.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of my biggest challenges was learning to trust what I was receiving—especially because so much of my work, frameworks, and processes came through spiritual downloads. In the beginning, that was difficult to own publicly. People would ask, “Where did you learn this?” or “Who trained you?” and I understood the question because we’re conditioned to validate knowledge through credentials and lineage in a very specific way.

A clear example is my Ancestral Lineage Healing protocol. It came through as a complete download—fully formed, step-by-step—and I didn’t have a neat list of references that explained it. What I had was the work itself, and the responsibility to test it with integrity. I had to build the confidence to stand behind what I knew, even when it didn’t fit into the boxes people were used to. That meant trusting my own discernment, being willing to refine as I grew, and allowing results to be part of the proof.

Over time, the work kept working. Clients experienced real shifts. People referred others. I was able to teach the process to others and see them produce consistent outcomes as well. That repetition created confidence—not just in the method, but in my ability to hold what I’m here to bring through.

Another obstacle was internal: I had to confront my own societal and ancestral programming around visibility, authority, and permission. Like many women, I had been conditioned to soften, qualify, or over-explain my knowing so it felt more acceptable. Part of my growth was learning to say, clearly and proudly, “This is what I know,” without shrinking to make other people comfortable.

And like any founder, I’ve had to learn how to build structure around the gift—systems, boundaries, and a sustainable business model—so that the work remains both accessible and protected. But the core challenge has always been the same: trusting my voice, trusting the downloads, and becoming the kind of leader who can hold both the mystical and the measurable with integrity.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
## Your Work

My work is centered on conscious liberation—helping people identify and detach from the ancestral, societal, and karmic programs that have been running their lives so they can reconnect with their true self and operate from their soul’s authority. At the core, I blend ancestral wisdom, the Akashic Records, and grounded transformation tools so the change is not just emotional or spiritual in theory, but embodied in how someone lives, chooses, and leads.

A lot of the people I serve are high-achieving, capable, and self-aware. They are not blocked by a lack of discipline or intelligence. They are blocked by invisible patterns: inherited beliefs, unprocessed grief, survival strategies, and spiritual disconnection that quietly shape relationships, self-worth, money decisions, and identity. In sessions and programs, we get to the root of what’s really operating beneath the surface, then we clear what’s no longer aligned and install new ways of being that are sustainable.

To make this work tangible, I developed frameworks that bring structure to transformation, including my SHIFT Protocol™. I also use diagnostic lenses that help people name the “program” they’re running, understand where it came from, and shift it with precision rather than willpower. The result is not just insight, but a new baseline—greater clarity, stronger boundaries, cleaner decision-making, and a deeper trust in self.

In addition to client work, I’m also a teacher and trainer. Through CHI Healing Institute, I teach and certify practitioners in working with the Akashic Records and Ancestral Lineage Healing. I train students not only in how to access and interpret information, but in how to facilitate ethical, grounded, sovereignty-centered sessions that create real outcomes. My goal is to raise the standard of this work—so it’s not just mystical, but responsible, repeatable, and transformational for the people being served.

I offer multiple pathways depending on where someone is in their journey: private sessions, mentorship, group programs, workshops, retreats, and trainings through CHI Healing Institute. I also teach publicly through Soul Aligned Living, my YouTube channel) and because education is part of liberation. When people finally have language for what they’re experiencing, they stop outsourcing their power and start moving with intention.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Discernment. The ability to separate intuition from fear, ego, and projection—and to read what’s true beneath what’s loud. This is essential in spiritual work, especially when guiding others back to their own authority.

Integrity. A commitment to truth over performance. I value depth, ethics, and doing the work in a way that does not create dependence or spiritual bypassing.

Sovereignty. My work is built on the belief that people are not meant to outsource their power. The goal is self-trust, inner command, and choice—not following someone else’s voice louder than your own.

Groundedness. Spiritual insight must translate into real life: boundaries, decisions, relationships, and leadership. If it doesn’t change how you live, it’s not complete.

Courage. It takes courage to outgrow inherited narratives, release loyalty to what no longer fits, and be seen as the person you’re becoming—especially when your environment benefits from the older version of you.

Emotional maturity. Transformation requires responsibility. I look for people who are willing to be honest with themselves, reflect, and participate in the process rather than waiting to be “fixed.”

Clarity and structure. My work is intuitive, but it’s not vague. I bring frameworks, language, and processes that make transformation repeatable, teachable, and sustainable—both for clients and for the practitioners I train.
