Today we’d like to introduce you to Justin Cheadle.
Hi Justin, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My fitness journey truly began after my time in the NFL with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
I was an offensive lineman weighing 330 pounds, and after football I transformed my body down to 230. During that time, I was working in medical device sales for an endoscopy company. As my transformation progressed, people constantly asked if I was a trainer or if I could help them do the same.
So I decided to test it.
I created a 90-day strength and nutrition plan and took on 10 people. Those 10 turned into my first 10 transformations—and that’s when I knew this was bigger than a side project.
I started training part-time at a local gym, gaining real hands-on experience. Eventually, I was forced to make a tough decision: continue medical device sales or go all-in on training. Trying to do both was hurting both. I chose training.
One month later, the pandemic hit.
Gyms shut down nationwide, and instead of folding, I adapted. I created Virtual Bootcamp with JC, allowing me to train 50–100 people at a time, up to five days a week, completely online. At a time when people had no access to gyms, we built consistency, structure, and results from home. That platform also opened doors to working with major organizations like Del Taco and the American Red Cross.
When gyms slowly reopened, I kept virtual training three mornings a week and transitioned into in-person training at Madhouse Gym, now one of the top gyms in Los Angeles. I also built a training app to support my online clients with customized workout programs and nutrition guidance.
Today, I coach both in person and online, run large-scale bootcamps, and host high-impact fitness events. Two of my signature events are Glute Camp with JC, a women-only experience focused on strength and confidence, and 100 Men vs the Gorilla, an all-men workout centered on brotherhood, accountability, and men sharpening men.
This isn’t just fitness—it’s community, discipline, and purpose. And we’re only getting started.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road.
The toughest challenge was the pandemic. With gyms shut down, there was a huge stigma around home workouts not being effective or challenging. I had to break that mindset. I made it a priority to ensure Virtual Bootcamp with JC was intense, structured, and demanding—something that would truly push anyone who was willing to push themselves, even from home.
Another major challenge has been how saturated the fitness industry is. There are countless trainers, platforms, price points, and approaches. Standing out in that environment isn’t optional—it’s essential. That forced me to be intentional about what separates my coaching from the rest.
I work relentlessly to make my training experience unique, but more importantly, to be a high-level coach. I push my clients, I hold them accountable, and I set clear expectations from day one. Results don’t happen by accident—they come from structure, effort, and standards. That’s what I bring to the table.
We’ve been impressed with Loyal to the Lifestyle, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is built on results, structure, and belief in the process.
I offer both in-person and online training services, all rooted in programs and exercises that I personally believe in and have proven through real results. Every client—whether training with me in person or remotely—receives a personalized nutrition plan tailored to their body, lifestyle, and specific goals. Whether the goal is fat loss, muscle gain, or full body recomposition, I create a clear, realistic roadmap to get them there.
What truly sets my coaching apart is the standard I hold my clients to—and the effort I put into them. I don’t just give workouts; I push people beyond where they think their limits are. I provide every tool necessary to succeed, and I set clear expectations from day one. I also make my services accessible by offering multiple options that fit different budgets, without ever sacrificing the quality of coaching.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of my reputation. I’m known as a hard coach who gets results. I consistently hear that I’m “worth every cent,” and that means everything to me. I take pride in the fact that I’ve been a part of over 1,000 client transformations, each one representing discipline, consistency, and trust in the process.
What I want readers to know is simple: no matter your starting point or fitness goal, if you’re ready to work, I’m the coach who will get you there. I take this job seriously. I’m fully invested in my clients’ success—and whatever it takes to get the job done, we get it done.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
I always believe in giving credit where credit is due.
First and foremost, God. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to wake up every day and do what I love while making a real difference in people’s lives. This industry is extremely saturated, but I’m thankful for the ability to stand out, stay consistent, and continue making an impact.
Next, my clients. They are a different breed. They show up, they trust the process, and they do the work that’s asked of them. The transformations I’ve been a part of wouldn’t be possible without their effort and commitment—and those results have been nothing short of incredible.
I also want to give a huge shoutout to Madhouse Gym, the home base where I currently train clients. It’s truly one of the best gyms in Los Angeles. The ownership has created an environment that allows trainers to thrive and a community that’s built to work hard, stay locked in, and achieve real results.
Lastly, I want to recognize the team behind the scenes—everyone who helps with organization, videography, content, and social media. People don’t always see that side, but it’s essential. It truly takes a village, and I’m extremely thankful for the support system and team that help bring the vision to life every day.
