Today we’d like to introduce you to Brenner Farr.
Hi Brenner, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in Olympia Washington. I grew up as a sports kid, but quickly fell in love with Theater in seventh grade. When my best friend convince me to do the school play. I had a background in gymnastics and of course they loved having me be able to do tricks. I pursue theater throughout high school and college, which eventually led me to move to California and have a career in performing and Stunts.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Of course it hasn’t been as smooth road, especially in the entertainment industry. It is hard to get a foot, but I’m very lucky to have found myself in a stable position. Working stunt shows at Disneyland, Universal Studios, and Pirates dinner adventure, but some of the biggest struggles have been the consistency in practicing and how to continue my career while taking my time and being patient with the opportunities given. It’s always hard when you’re constantly compared to others around you and staying patient when you’re learning.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I work specifically work in Stunts while I’m also an actor. My specialty in Stunts has always been my parkour and gymnastics ability, but I have also picked up a lot of skills along the way, like stair Falls, high Falls by choreography along with weapon choreography in various other skills. What I most proud of is my ability to learn from the most talented people around me. I have been blessed with a strong group of people that I can trust to help guide me and teach me what I need to know. I think that is what sets me apart as well.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I think the quality that is important to my success is patience. You have to stay disciplined in your training and in your timing you never know when successful will happen for you, but you have to be ready and prepared for it as if it will happen tomorrow. I think that is why patience is very important to my success.
