Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryn Schneider.
Hi Bryn, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My story really starts with the environment I grew up in.
I was surrounded by real estate and construction from an early age, watching my dad build homes and develop neighborhoods in Lexington, KY and surrounding areas. I absorbed so much just by being around it. I learned how homes function structurally, how design choices shape emotion, and how a property can carry history and future potential all at once. That early exposure shaped the way I see real estate today: not just as transactions, but as spaces that hold value, meaning, and opportunity. Today my whole family lives in Los Angeles and is still in real estate: my brother renovates houses and focuses on restoring Historical homes to their glory and my dad focuses on ADU and SB9 construction. It’s a family affair, and it continues to influence how I approach every project and every client.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Living through the 2008–09 real estate crash shaped a huge part of who I am in this industry.
I watched the market collapse not as an outsider, but as someone whose family worked directly in real estate and construction. Overnight, projects slowed, financing tightened, and neighborhoods that once felt secure suddenly felt uncertain. Seeing the ripple effects on homeowners, builders, and entire communities gave me a deep understanding of how vulnerable people can feel when the market shifts and how important it is to make smart, equity-building decisions rather than emotional ones.
That period taught me resilience, practicality, and the importance of long-term strategy over short-term hype. It made me hyper-aware of risk, value, and timing. It’s also why I care so much about guiding clients through decisions that won’t just work today, but will protect them through future cycles.
The crash didn’t scare me away from real estate, it grounded me in it. It taught me the importance of stability, educated investing, and building real, sustainable wealth through property. That perspective is still at the core of how I advise clients today.
As you know, we’re big fans of Sold by Bryn. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My brand is built on high-touch service, real construction knowledge, and a genuine love for creating beautiful, functional spaces. I’m not just an agent who opens doors; I’m involved in every detail, from prepping listings to guiding renovations to helping clients understand the long-term value in a property.
Growing up around real estate and construction taught me how homes work on a structural and emotional level. Now, with my family also working in the industry here in Los Angeles, I bring that expertise directly into my client experience. My brother restores historic homes, my dad specializes in ADUs and SB9 construction, and I use that background to help clients make smart, strategic decisions.
I help people buy, sell, renovate, invest, and explore opportunities they may not see at first. I also work heavily in luxury furnished rentals, matching clients with high-end, full-service homes when they need temporary but elevated living.
At the core, my brand is about detail, care, and strong advocacy. I’m hands-on, I’m strategic, and I always look for ways to add value and stability for the people I work with.
